4. Never tell your doctor lies about your health 🙏🏽 so they can know how to start tackling your health problems
5. Always listen to your doctor and follow his prescription ( DO NOT ADD OR MINUS)
6. Be careful and safe in there - in the terms of making friends and do not carry your family secret and dash them( not everyone is worth knowing so much about you)
7. Do not 🚫 I repeat do not think you know it all, ask and answer questions at the appropriate times.

Hello family,friends and followers 🥰
Do you usually go hungry especially after you have eaten something?
Do you feel hungry shortly after eating? Do you eat and still feel like you haven't eaten anything yet?
It is not a normal sign 🛑
It might be a symptom of some underlying sicknesses
Its a medical term called POLYPHAGIA
Polyphagia means excessive hunger or abnormally increased appetite.
It is one of the classic symptoms of diabetes mellitus, but it can also occur in other conditions.
Causes of Polyphagia
1.Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (especially Type 1) – due to cells not getting enough glucose despite high blood sugar levels.
2.Hyperthyroidism – increased metabolism causes more hunger.
3.Hypoglycemia – low blood sugar triggers hunger as a compensatory response.
4.Psychological causes – stress, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders (like bulimia).
5.Certain medications – steroids, antipsychotics, or antidepressants.
6.Hormonal or brain disorders – involving the hypothalamus or pituitary gland.
🩺 Treatment and Management of Polyphagia
It really doesn't have a specific treatment so therefore you have to check out any of these causes mentioned above and Treat the Underlying Cause which your diagnosis falls on.
If it's Diabetes mellitus:
Proper use of insulin or oral hypoglycemics.
Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels.
Balanced diet and exercise.
If it's Hyperthyroidism:
Anti thyroid medications (e.g., methimazole).
Radioactive iodine or surgery if necessary.
If it's Psychological causes:
Counseling or psychotherapy.
Stress management and relaxation techniques.
If it's Medication-induced:
Review and adjust the dose or change the drug under medical supervision.
If it's from Dietary Management:
Eat balanced, high-fiber meals to stay full longer.
Avoid excessive refined sugars and processed foods.
Maintain regular meal times to prevent blood sugar fluctuations.
