1: PROJECT TITLE
Empowering Young Youths Through Skill Acquisition in Professional Makeup

2: PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is an intensive vocational skill acquisition training designed to empower youths in Abakaliki with practical and income-generating skills. The training will focus on professional makeup and will last for 20 days, from 3rd August to 28th August 2026.
The training is expected to accommodate 30 participants drawn from different communities within Abakaliki and its environs.

3: OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
(A) To reduce unemployment by equipping participants with marketable vocational skills (B) To train participants in modern professional makeup techniques.
(C) To teach participants how to apply different makeup styles professionally.
(D) To promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among youths.
(E) To contribute positively to community development and poverty reduction.

This project aligns with the objectives of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in promoting rural development, youth empowerment, and community service.
It is my sincere belief that this initiative will positively impact the lives of participants and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the community.
