HAIR COLOURING MYTHS & FACTS PART 2

🎀 Leaving my bleach mix on my hair for a very long time will give me a better result - DON’T DO IT!! The shell life for dye/bleach is 30-45mins at most 1hour (won’t advice this though) anything after that is just causing chemical damage to your hair and will make the hair dry & brittle.

🎀 Don’t apply heat to your hair after dyeing- This is neither false nor true. Yes! applying heat after colouring can cause damage because of how fragile the hair is at that state, but then again you’ll need to style your hair after dyeing. So I’ll advice to use heat protectant on the hair first and you medium heat so it reduces the risk of heat damage. 📝

🎀 Wrapping my hair with foil will help it process faster- This is true!!! Heat helps the bleach to process faster, another alternative if you have limited time is to use a hair dryer 😁😁 the heat will process the hair very fast and vice versa (when hair is processing too fast just give it some cold air 😉 it will reduce/stop processing. Thank me later 😆

🎀 Soaking my hair with coconut oil before dyeing will reduce damage- This is “VERY” false!!! I don’t even know why this is a thing because I don’t see what coconut oil can do to the hair at that point 😂

🎀 Will sunlight make my hair colour fade quickly?- This is so TRUE!!! Of course it’s annoying when the beautiful colour of your hair starts to fade out but it is inevitable. “Either you choose to colour your hair or not, UV rays will make your colour fade if you spend a long time in the sun. Although there are products to protect your hair from this.

FAQ- Why do you use 2-5days for processing time? Why not same day?

We like our wigs to 💯 perfect! Do we sew wig in a day? Yes! But because we are very key on giving you quality 👌 we always use those extra days/hours for quality control. That is:-If the closure isn’t placed right! If the stitching isn’t tight enough! If the wigcap is torn! If they are loose threads! And most of all if the hair is styled right!!!
I will never send low quality wig out to my because we don’t not want to reduce our standards. So my dear give us those extra days to do proper quality control on your wigs before sending them out.
