What echoed in my ear very well is "did I ask anybody to born me" I love that part very very well
Okwa maka gaslighters, "if I didn't take care of you, you would have died" and how's that supposed to be my business, if I die will I know that I'm dead?
Besides you are chanting "I took care of you, I gave birth to you bla bla bla" like I'm supposed to go to the bank and withdraw cool cash with it,
Pikin hungry you, you born am now you want to make me feel you did me a huge favour by giving birth to me " no sir,
I'm the one that actually did you a favour by honouring you with a"father title "
Besides I didn't ask for you to birth me, I was somewhere in an existing realm, you and my mother decided to do something something, which resulted to my existence now you want to make me feel favoured and privileged?
Moreover, if you hadn't given birth to me I wouldn't have existed, and the world does not miss those that are yet to be born.

Sometimes this kind of reflection is mistaken for victim blaming.
However it's about taking responsibility for the roles you may have played in your own downfall.
And the truth is that unless you acknowledge your part and genuinely admit within yourself that you made mistakes it will be difficult for you to rewrite your story.
You will keep falling into that same blind spot, trapped in a cycle of victim mentality instead of engaging in honest retrospection that leads to growth.

You see these elderly people, yeah? They love pulling that “shut up, you're still a child you haven’t seen life yet” card.
One tried it on me tonight, and I told him plainly:
“No matter how many decades you have on me even if you're as old as Methuselah, there’s one truth we both share: —"nobody knows tomorrow.”
You may have seen more of life, sure. But you still don't know what the next minute holds for you.
Most times, they throw that line just to silence you because the questions you're asking are jabbing their minds and shaking whatever agenda they’re trying to push."
