I’ve always had acne from my teenage years, I had some episodes at the university but not as much as being a teenager.

After School “acne took a walk” I mean, I had gained substantial knowledge of skincare until 2022, few months before I got pregnant when something strange happened.

I had never experienced this before, as black soap and my regular acne treatments weren’t working.

I did some research and realized I had “fungal acne” I was utterly confused, considering how the public expects a skincare formulator or consultant to always have it figured out.

“I mean we should have clear flawless glass-like skin all year round, as we are not humans nau 😅”

It took a long while but I found a solution that worked. Looking back now I’m grateful for that learning phase.

After birthing my baby, I went through a terrible phase of hormonal acne that took over a year to heal.

This skin you see tells a story, it has seen the Good, the bad and the ugly, but one thing was sure, I never gave up. If anything yet arises in the future I’ll still not give up.

Your skin can be clear again if stop looking down on yourself, give it time, and never relent on it no matter what you see!
