Peace In Your Heart!

📖Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27).

The Lord Jesus has given us His peace. Isn’t that great? This is the reason I’m always calm no matter the situation.

I want you to be this way too, where nothing troubles you. Remember, Jesus’ peace protects you from fear and worry. The Bible calls it ‘perfect peace’ (Isaiah 26:3), and it’s already in your heart. It isn’t like the world’s fragile peace. Hallelujah!

So, be at rest always, and let nothing and no one make you sad or worried, because the Lord has given you His peace to guard your heart. Glory to God!

BE SPIRITUALLY ALERT
(We Are In An Ongoing
Fight)

📖TO THE BIBLE :Romans 8:6 KJV
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

LET'S TALK⏩
As Christians, it's crucial that we stay spiritually alert because we're soldiers in God's army, and we're engaged in spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that "..we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

2 Corinthians 10:4 also tells us, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." Though the fight is ongoing, we aren't told when each battle will happen, but God wants us prepared at all times. He lets us know that there are "evil days" (Ephesians 6:13), and this signifies "battle days." A battle is the actual fight of a war. To be ready, we must stay spiritually attuned, sensitive to the Spirit and ready for His guidance.

We have an adversary-Satan-who doesn't rest. 1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith..." And in Ephesians 6:10-11, we're told to "be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

You have dominion and authority over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Use the spiritual weapons listed in Ephesians 6:14-18 to frustrate their stratagems and foil all their evil works. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, my mind and affections are set on the Lord and things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel and eternal Kingdom. *THE FULL PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL*

_*📖...So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation (Romans 15:19-20 NIV).*_

The Apostle Paul, in the verse above, tells us something profound about the extent of his missionary work. His declaration that he had "fully preached" the Gospel signified that he had delivered the entirety of Christ's message, leaving no stone unturned in his evangelistic efforts.

In other words, from Jerusalem, the heart of the Jewish Faith, to Illyricum, Paul travelled extensively, winning souls, establishing churches and nurturing Christians in the Faith. His commitment to preaching the Gospel in regions where Christ had not been named was driven by a desire to reach the unreached, fulfilling the Great Commissiongiven by the Lord Jesus to _*"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..."*_ (Matthew 28:19).

Paul understood the urgency of spreading the Gospel, knowing that many were yet to hear the life-changing message of salvation. Later on, in the 23rd verse of Romans 15, He affirmed that he had "no more place" to preach the Gospel in those regions. It indicates that he had faithfully executed the task entrusted to him by God, and now, he was ready to move on to new territories. Paul preached the Gospel in such a way that the message had taken root: _*“But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you”*_ (Romans 15:23).

One of the remarkable things the Lord is gracing us to do this year is to complete the full preaching of the Gospel in all nations. Believe this and identify your role in it. In Matthew 24:14, the Lord Jesus said, _*"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."*_ Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to be part of the great commission to preach the Gospel to all nations. This year, we will see the fullness of your message reach every corner of the earth. Christians and churches everywhere are empowered by your Spirit to boldly proclaim your truth, and the knowledge of your Word covers the earth as the waters cover the sea, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*THE CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH*

I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. *(Psalm 82:6)*

Today’s memory scripture is talking about you; yes, you! Take some time to think about it, you’re God’s own dear child. Isn’t that awesome? That’s greater than being the child of the president or the head of government of any nation.

You’re the child of God, the Creator of the heavens, earth and all that’s in it. Glory to God! This should put some spring in your steps, and a smile on your face. You’re not ordinary, you’re special, the child of the Most High God.

Therefore, go out today with your chest out and chin up, knowing that the Creator of the heavens and the earth is your Father. Hallelujah!

THURSDAY 3RD OCTOBER

THE PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to your name, O Most High (Psalm 92:1)

This prayer is simply thanking, praising and worshipping the Lord for what He’s done for you, your family, friends, church and country.

One day, Jesus entered a village where He met and healed ten lepers. They all went away rejoicing but only one of them returned to thank Jesus. For that reason, not only was he healed, every part of his body that was affected by the leprosy was made whole (Luke 17:11-19).

Therefore, let your heart be full of praise and thanksgiving today for all the Lord has done for you. Be filled with gratitude for all He’s done for you. Remember, the Lord deserves all your praise and adoration.

Speak Courageously

📖And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out...(Numbers 13:32).

Our memory verse is about the twelve spies and their reports. Moses had sent them to spy out the land of Canaan. Of the twelve, only two (Caleb and Joshua) came back with a report that inspired faith in the Lord and His promise. “...We have no reason to be afraid of the people who live there. The LORD is on our side, and they won’t stand a chance against us” they said (Numbers 14:9 CEV). What a display of faith!

Just as Caleb and Joshua spoke in faith courageously, you should also speak out in faith. It doesn’t matter what you’re faced with, be bold to speak God’s Word and make your faith-filled declarations. This is how to assure your victory.

Say This
As I make my faith-filled declarations boldly, I walk in victory now and always. Hallelujah!

Always show gratitude no matter the size of help received, it encourages goodwill, more act of kindness and attrack more blessings.

RHEMA returned to Church (Christ Embassy) to show gratitude for how the church took care care of them when they lost their father and we're left with nothing. The Church opened a Business for the mother which generated founds that was used to raise the children.

For those people criticizing Churches for collection of tithes and offerings I advise you to desist from it because, the consequences is so grievous and your generations to come will also suffer for it. Stay away from matters not under your control you maybe exposing yourself to dangers unknowingly (Hosea 4:6).

To God be the Glory!!!.

*PRAYING FOR ALL PEOPLE*

_*I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men (1 Timothy 2:1).*_

There's a profound difference between praying for anation and praying for its citizens. When we pray for nations, it carries a distinct weight, but praying for the individuals of those nations adds depth and specificity toour intercession.

When I pray for all Ghanaians, for example, it's different from praying for the nation of Ghana. Praying for the nation of Ghana implies focusing on the government, its structures and the people within its borders.

But when you say, “I'm praying for Ghanaians,” you’re extending your prayer to every Ghanaian, wherever they may be in this world. Your prayer touches each individual who identifies as Ghanaian, regardless of their location. This personalizes your prayer and enables you to connect with the people on a deeper level.

That's what Paul meant when he emphasized that prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks should be made for “all men” everywhere; and by that, he meant every man, woman, boy and girl. There's a profound significance when you pray this way; it helps cultivate love for them.

Praying for nations alone could feel distant and impersonal, but when you pray for the people of those nations, it becomes personal. Approaching prayer in this manner endears you to people in a way that makes your intercession for them more impactful.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of prayer and intercession. Even now, I pray for every citizen of my country who’s yet to receive salvation, irrespective of their geographical location, that their hearts be open to hear and understand the Gospel to receive salvation today. Thank you for the massive harvest of souls into the Kingdom around the world today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*A BRAND-NEW LIFE*

_(It’s A Different Life And Nature In Christ Jesus)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Colossians 3:9-10*
_“Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.”_

*LET’S TALK*

*“Hey, Lorraine, what does the phrase ‘being born again’ in 1 Peter 1:23 mean?”* Elsa asked her Care Group leader. *“Does it mean he or she just repented?”*

*“Not at all, Elsa,”* Lorraine replied. *“Being born again isn’t just about repentance or saying ‘sorry’ to God and having Him forgive you. It’s much more than that. It’s about receiving a new life and nature from the Lord Jesus Christ.”*

Being born again goes beyond repentance; when you were born into this world, you came with the human life from your parents. This was the life you lived until you were born again and received another life: the life and nature of God. Does this, therefore, imply that you have two lives in you: a human life as well as the divine one? Absolutely not!

As a Christian, you only have one life, and it’s the God life. The human life ceased to be because it was replaced by this life and nature of God. You didn’t receive an additional life; it was a supplanting of the old with the new. Hallelujah! The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, *“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”* The use of the word *“creation”* lets us know that what’s being described is something new and strange to the world because it has never seen it before. It’s like what the Bible says in 1 John 3:1, *“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”* Now that we’re the sons of God, the world doesn’t recognise us because we’re changed.

We’re no longer subject to sickness, disease, failure, or death. We’re new creations, born with the life and nature of God that transcends the ordinary human life. This is the message of Christ. This is why He came: *“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”* (John 1:12). Hallelujah!

*SPEAK*

_I declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life, and His life and nature that transcends the ordinary human life has been imparted to my spirit. My old life has been completely supplanted by the divine life, which is superior to sickness, disease, defeat and the depravities of the natural man. Praise God forevermore!_

WHAT “AIR” IS AROUND YOU?
(Paralyze Satan’s Influence In Your World)

📖TO THE BIBLE: Ephesians 2:1-2 ESV “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.”

LET’S TALK⏩️
The expression “the power of the air” in the scripture above refers to an atmosphere or behaviour indicative of some quality or trait, like you’d say, “An air of unbelief.” It could be the atmosphere in a region indicative of something foul, evil, or dark about that place; it’s the work of the prince of the power of the air, but you’re to paralyse his influence.

Churches, people, families, and individuals could be influenced by “the air” of their city without their knowledge. The church that was in Corinth, for example, was influenced by the city of Corinth; likewise, the church at Ephesus. However, through the teaching of God’s Word, the apostles made the people understand that only through the Holy Spirit could they rise above the spirit of their environment and break the power of darkness over their cities.

The prince of the power of the air brings an air of poverty into a place and a feeling of inadequacy; he causes the destruction, hatred, killings, murders, wickedness, and violence in the world today. He can run families, cities, kingdoms, and nations, determining a lot of things that happen in them. But the Bible says, “For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod” (Isaiah 30:31 KJV).

The Assyrian is prophetic of the Antichrist spirit. The “voice of the LORD” is contextualised for us here as the Word of God spoken by the power of the Holy Spirit. That’s the “rhema” of God, which is the sword of the Spirit! It discomfits Satan and the princes of darkness. With the Word on your lips, you destroy their activities; you paralyse his influence over your nation, your city, your family, your personal life, and your environment. Hallelujah!
