MALE PATTERN BALDNESS (ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA)
This is associated with the presence of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), an androgen and male s*x hormone. Genetics is mostly the cause of male-pattern baldness and receding hairlines in men. It usually affects the front and crown areas of the head, leaving hair at the back and on the sides untouched. Children and adults are both affected, but it is more common in older people because hair follicles naturally weaken over time.

SYMPTOMS OF MALE PATTERN BALDNESS
🎯 Usually starts as light hair loss that begins to fall from the front corners of the forehead, or the temples, and in a single bald spot on the crown of the head.
Others can experience heavy hair loss at the temples that cause a W,U and V-shape.

🎯Male-pattern baldness and receding hairlines can sometimes signal the beginning stages of going completely bald. This can happen quickly or take years to occur after the beginning symptoms of a receding hairline start to show.

SPOT BALDNESS (ALOPECIA AREATA).
This is autoimmune disease which is characterized by hair falling outing round, circular bald patches on the scalp.
