FACE CLEANSER VS FACE WASH

Overtime, we have gotten questions and enquiries on the difference between a face wash and cleanser, which is better of, or why they should pick either or both of them.
Here is it:
Both face washes and cleansers are used to rid the face of dirt, oil, reduce the appearance of acne, pollution etc. However, there are mild differences between them.
Face cleansers can(may) be used on a daily basis to effectively remove dirt’s, and impurities. It is more moisturizing and hydrating than the face wash.
Face wash does a more intense job by cleansing pores and can be used as a substitute for soap. Very perfect for oily skin.
Cleansers and face washes CAN or MAY be used together in your skin care routine. However, the biggest determinant is your SKIN TYPE.
For those who have/tend to have dry skin, the cleanser can be used. You can also figure out frequency of use, based on how often your skin is exposed to pollution and how receptive your skin is to it. But most often, we recommend you use it 2/3 times a week.
For those with oily skin, a face wash is mostly always recommended. Also the skin is a huge determinant, like the cleansers, we also recommend you begin with 2/3 times a week and then build up if it soothes you perfectly.
If you decide to use both, we advise, you use them interchangeably. For example, you can use the face cleanser in the morning and face wash at night. These routines can also be swapped at any point.
