Yesterday, Wednesday July 6 2022, the Excos of Barbers Association of Enugu State(BAES) paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Enugu East LGA, Hon. Livinus Nze Anike.

The Young and Youth Friendly Mayor after a warmth reception in his office said that he will continue to support and partner with Barbers Association of Enugu State (BAES) to ensure quality service to the good people of Enugu East LGA.

The Association will soon launch a training center at the council to run free trainings on Haircut and other empowerment service.

Thank you for believing in my vision and aspiration to become the next President of Nigeria in 2023. I pray 🙏 and labour daily not to disappoint people like you who sees possibilities in nothing! You have won my heart!!

Whereas some fellow youths are busy talking down on me, but you chose to be different. Count on me, I will deliver.

Let me share this testimony with you.

I am a secondary school dropout. Amazingly too, I never had my first school leaving certificate due to certain challenges and setbacks I encountered in my early life's journey. I hated politics before with passion due to my late father's and my personal perceptions about it. But as a young activist, I made several impacts to the society that eventually caught the attention of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State who later Appointed me his Special Assistant on February 23, 2021. Miraculously, that's how my journey in politics began. Governor Ugwuanyi in his magnanimity and good pleasure appointed me into such a high and important position in state not minding that I didn't have any paper certification. Thus, indeed my appointment was based on God's grace, favour and my impact to the society. This is a lesson that God can do anything! Till date, my performances has been outstanding and speaking for itself.

Some years back before my appointment, I made up my mind against all odds to aspire to be the next president of Nigeria. I became a laughing stock to many. A world center of mockery! Only my wife, my little children, few of my relatives and friends that stood with me. It was like hell fell on me. I had no money, no educational qualification, no political god-father, no sponsor.

However, an inner strength and faith boils within me. Each time I flashed back on my dreams where I sat with the former President, Goodluck Jonathan eating with golden spoon during his regime and how the sitting President Mohammadu Buhari said to me in another dream 'Madus! I will hand over power to you', all these reassures me that God want to use me to achieve some impossibilities in Nigeria and show men another dimension of Him they have not seen.

Nevertheless, some critical questions crept into my heart. How do I start? Where should I start from? After some deep thoughts, I started with the resources within me. I put all my creative powers and abilities to work.

To cut a long story short. Today, God is using me to change the narrative among the Youths, the uneducated and the Poor as I stand to be the only consensus candidate for "Not Too Young To Rule and Not Too Poor To Run" ahead of the 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria.

"If I do not make it to win the Nigeria's seat of power in 2023 as a youth, then I will work with whoever that wins. But, even to the last hour of the race, I will keep my hope alive!"

Hon. Madus Mathias, Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State and Chairman, Barbers Association of Enugu State will commence an official CVR/PVC Sensitization/Training and Free Registration Tour to Barbershops in Enugu State ahead of the 2023 elections.

The Tour will take-off at Government House, Enugu by 10:00am on Tuesday 29th March 2022.

Hon. Madus urges barbers in Enugu State to take advantage of the free CVR/PVC Registration as it saves time and money, adding that it is their civic rights and duties to obtain their PVCs and participate fully in the electoral system of the State.
