I recently revisited ''Born to Rebel'', and one idea wouldn’t leave me: Children don’t just grow up in families… they 'adapt to survive within them'. Every child is unconsciously asking: “How do I matter here?” And the answer ofte...

Today I witnessed something during clinical duty that really touched my heart.

A 15-year-old boy was admitted because of substance abuse. During assessment, it was discovered that he had been bullied in school and pressured by some of his peers into taking substances. Sadly, he could not even identify the exact substance he had been using.

What started as peer pressure gradually became addiction. The young boy started depending on the substance just to sleep, and eventually it led to psychotic symptoms, which is why he was brought to the hospital.

The most painful part was seeing the parents. This boy is their only child. Imagine the pain and fear in their hearts as everything is now on hold — school, normal life, and future plans while he receives treatment.

This experience reminded me how important it is for parents to build a strong relationship with their children.

Please talk to your children.
Let them feel safe enough to tell you what is happening in school and among their friends.

Some children go through bullying and peer pressure silently because they are afraid or ashamed to speak up.

If your child is easily influenced by others, keep reassuring them. Remind them that they are enough and that they don’t need validation from friends to feel accepted.

Sometimes, one conversation can save a child’s future.

You are richer than you know. Not in money. In breaths taken, in eyes that see, in legs that carry you, in people who stay. Count these.
HAPPY SUNDAY 🎉🎉

Confidence is the only key. I can't think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is unafraid to be herself.

Consistency looks like nothing is happening until everything changes.

How do you exercise your brain? 🧠

For me, one of the best ways is reading books.

Since I became committed to reading, it has really changed my mindset. Before now, I used to doubt myself and I was often afraid of trying new things. But reading has helped me grow in confidence and believe more in myself.

Reading keeps my brain active and constantly learning.

I don’t only read health-related books. Most times, I read motivational and personal development books because they help me improve my mindset and my inner self.

This year, I challenged myself to read one book every month. It’s my way of exercising my brain and becoming a better version of myself.

Remember, one of the greatest investments you can make is improving your inner self.

What about you?
How do you exercise your brain?

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth, 3 John 1:2

God cares not only about our spiritual life but also about our physical health. Our bodies are gifts from Him, and taking care of them is part of honoring God.

Today, remember to:
• Eat nourishing foods
• Drink enough water
• Rest your body
• Manage stress
• Pray and feed your spirit with God’s word

A healthy body allows us to serve God, love others, and fulfill our purpose.

I strongly believe in holistic care.

Health is not just about drugs and hospital visits. It’s about your mind, your emotions, your environment, your relationships and your whole life.

That’s why in healthcare we take detailed history: medical history, family history, social history. Because we treat the person, not just the symptoms.

Even your marriage affects your health.
A peaceful home reduces stress.
An unhappy home can slowly damage your mental and physical well-being.
Choose your life partner wisely. And if you have a supportive husband, appreciate him. A healthy relationship is an investment in your lifespan.

Your health is not only what you eat, it’s the life you live. Protect your peace. It’s medicine.
