Creating a high Performance Skin Care product can become one of the easiest things to do if you follow these steps :
1. KNOW THE PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE
You have to be intentional about the benefits or purpose you want your Products to serve.
You need to ask yourself why you are formulating that product.
Is it a Products for maintaining the skin ?, Or is it a product targeted at improving a skin condition ?
The answer to These questions will enable you to formulate a Products that will properly Target and do the work it was Intended for.
2.KNOW THE SKIN TYPE THAT WILL USE YOUR PRODUCTS
Is your Product meant to serve a person with oily skin only ?, Or is it a Products for dry or combination skin ?
Do you want your Products to be Non irritating for sensitive Skin ?
These questions should be fully answered before Proceedings to choosing ingredients because the answers will affect your choice if ingredients.
3. USE ACTIVE COSMECEUTICALS
Want your Products to perform effectively ?, consider using Active ingredients.
Actives or Cosmeceuticals are those ingredients that serve a specific function in Skin Care Products. They are the ones that get the actual work done.

When determining the final Ph Range, It is best to pick a ph that is best for the skin and at the same time best for the Active ingredients to function properly. This will reduce the Probability of the Products to cause irritation.The skin is slightly acidic, Normal skin pH is 5 to 5.5.
