20 things i learnt in 2024

You are your first cheerleader.

You don’t need too many people. A few solid persons are enough.

Stop pouring into people who aren’t pouring into you.

Life is very spiritual.

Do the things that make you happy.

One source of income is not enough.

People are natural users, know where to draw the line.

Showing up everyday may be all you need to be successful in a particular field.

If it is not working, change it, dont get stuck.

Go all out for people who go all out for you (energy for energy)

Anything you want and can comfortably afford, buy it! Money doesn’t buy happiness what you buy with money is what buys you happiness.

How you know to love people may not be how they want to be loved.

Never expect the same measure of love, kindness and generosity that you give you out.

Prayer works💯

Health is the real wealth, Loose it and you loose everything.

Be with people who can communicate, they make it easier.

That it fits someone doesn’t mean it will fit you and vice versa.

Money is for spending. Money in itself serves no purpose expect spent or invested to make more money.

You are not the first to do it. Learn from those ahead of you.

Make mistakes, learn from it and move fast!

Beautiful morning famz and happy new year in addy 😍

I have come to understand that the first world countries do not necessarily care about university grades. Don’t get me wrong, going to the university and acquiring formal education is very good and important but they look beyound the certificates and grades.
First class, upper credit, lower credit, they don’t really care like that.

All they care about is your SKILLS. What can you do?

You graduated with first class that’s interesting but what can you do? What practical things can you do or create with your hands and brains?

Every professional requires skills, you don’t just become a nurse, are you a skilled nurse?

You are not just web designer, are you a Skilled web development?

You are a fashion designer, are you a Skilled fashion designer?

You are a musician, do you have the skills to excel in music?

We need to start looking beyond certificates and grades, that is why Canada 🇨🇦 is looking for skilled workers, America 🇺🇸 is looking for skilled workers, Uk 🇬🇧 is looking for skilled workers, Australia 🇦🇺 is looking for skilled workers.

When you apply for skilled worker visas, they don’t care about your grades, your SKILLS and EXPERIENCE comes first!

You can actually move to Canada as a baker but when you tell someone in Nigeria that you are a baker some people will be looking down on you.

What skill do you have? Learn a skill today and be very good at it. The world is changing so fast!

Fun fact:

You can stay up to 5 years in the uk 🇬🇧 without setting your eyes on a £50 note.

Sometimes I even forget that the £50 bill exists 🤣

One day, I went for a self checkout after shopping, I had a £50 note and I inserted it into the machine but it just brought it right back and I don’t really know why😁

Even if you go to the cash machine to withdraw £50, it won’t dispense a £50 note.

The British currency is highly valued and probably regulated to be honest.

If you hold £50 you go be like r!tual!st🤣🤣

Even when you want to pay, oyibo go dey look the money dey check🤣

£50 is the highest denomination and I think that’s why.

The money get value no cap 🧢

If we see £50 e go remain small make we jump for Joy 🤣 the excitement is always very obvious cos you may not see it again in 10 years and you live in Britain oo 🤣

It’s easy to look at the perfect pictures of married couples on social media and believe that their lives are without flaws. But the reality is, behind every beautifully curated photo, there are challenges, disagreements, and imperfections. No relationship is free of conflict or misunderstandings, and that’s normal.
What truly matters is not the absence of problems, but how couples handle them. Strong marriages aren’t built on perfection; they’re built on mutual respect, communication, and a willingness to grow together. It’s important to remember that social media shows only a highlight reel, not the full story. The success of a relationship isn’t in how flawless it appears to others, but in how two people work through their differences, learn from each other, and continue to choose each other every day.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
