No filters. No cover ups. Just clean work.

One thing about my installs is that what you see is exactly what you get. I don’t rely on filters or editing to clean up mistakes after installation. If the work isn’t clean in real life, no filter in the world can truly fix it.

As hairstylists, it’s easy to fall into the habit of depending on filters to smooth out lace, blur imperfections, or hide rushed work. But the truth is, relying on that can slowly damage your skills. When you know a filter will “fix it later,” you’re less likely to take your time with the real process the prep, the application, the detailing, and the finishing touches.

For me, the goal is simple: the install should already look flawless before the camera even comes out. The lace should blend. The hairline should make sense. The finishing should be clean. That way, when I take a picture or video, I don’t need to hide anything.

Real skill shows in real life, not just on social media.

Filters can make content look pretty, but they can never replace proper technique, patience, and attention to detail. I’d rather improve my hands than perfect my editing.

Because at the end of the day, my clients don’t walk around with filters they walk around with my work. And that work has to speak for itself. ✨
