My 25 year self said “never let someone that wasn’t where you want to be change your plan “

We as human beings are wired to choose comfort over discipline. It is not laziness — it is biology.

The moment your alarm rings your body starts negotiating. Just 5 more minutes. You are tired. You deserve rest. And if you hesitate long enough your body wins every time.

So I stopped giving myself the option to negotiate.
I moved my phone across the room. Now waking up is not a decision — it is just the next physical action.

Then before sleeping I played the next day in my mind until I drifted off.
What I discovered is that your unconscious mind prepares what your body executes. Give it a plan before you sleep and it starts working before the alarm even rings.
You do not have a laziness problem. You have a system problem.
Fix the system. 🙏

Maybe it’s about growing into the person you’re meant to become.

And one day, you’ll realize you were making progress all along.
