At about 1pm, Hubby asked me to dress up and also dress the kids up so that we can hang out...

I told him that I had just eaten that we can hang out later this evening..

He reminded me about his other engagements this evening. That it LL be difficult for us to hang out as his attention is needed somewhere..

I told him not to worry, that we don't have to hang out today..

So I went in to catch some sleep. I didn't sleep up to an hour before he came to wake me up that a friend of his came with his family to greet me...

I was kinda upset oh. Haba, now wey sleep don dey sweet me naim you dey wake me up..

I grudgingly stood up and went to the sitting room.. 😮😮😮

Omo, e chokeeee... This tray of gorgeousness greeted me.

Ah, my mouth was wide open for a while oh... I never experredit...

His friend and family started singing for me... 😂😂 Apparently when the food tray arrived, Hubby called his friend to come and join in the celebration. 😊😊

I was strolling to the shop yesterday and this guy was walking in front of me.

I saw this inscription on his shirt. I had to read it twice cos when I read it the first time, it didn't really sink. .

But then I read it again and I was like, Wow.. This is deep.

There's this old saying that goes "TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE".

No one has the Monopoly of knowledge..

Few months back, I was in a state of confusion about my line of business.. I needed some form of direction.

I thought and thought but the idea, that kept coming to me wasn't enough.

So, I called my elder sister and explained things to her.

We spoke at length and I was very much fulfilled and convinced with all the ideas she gave me.

If I had banked on my knowledge alone, I may still be stuck where I was then. I'm glad I opened up and got a headway.

No matter how much you know, if you do not ask questions or read. You will be confined to whatever you think you know... You wouldn't go past what you already know...

But when you seek opinions from people who ve been in that field or position before you, you LL be amazed as to how much more information you LL add to that which you already know...

See Ehn, sometimes I wonder why the Hell one has to go through all the stress and all, to go to school and eventually graduate with no jobs in sight... Last last, na to become an Entrepreneur.

But truth is Education is very vital, and shouldn't be compromised in anyway. Na the country wey we dey, naim no Favour us.

But while going to school, please find time to learn skills by the side. Cos even if you eventually get a job when you graduate, the income may not be able to sustain you. So, there ll be a need to practice your skills on the side while working...

To sustain an average lifestyle in Nigeria, you need to have multiple sources of income..

My mum had a really good paying job in the teaching hospital then, but she was doing a whole lot of personal businesses by the side. There was nothing she didn't sell and I guess that rubbed off on us her kids, cos almost everyone of us are into one business or the other...

My kids must learn skills oh, even if we go comot for Naija. It will still be useful to them..

Earlier yesterday, we had a small private thanksgiving mass in celebration of our 5th wedding Anniversary.. Can't believe it's 5yrs already, feels like we got married only yesterday..
