HOW TO SPOT ORIGINAL CHEBE POWDER AND KARKAR OIL
It is no news that original chebe powder from chad and karkar oil works but the issue is that fake and adulterated are everywhere.
So the question many ask is, how do I know original.

I know my answers will get some sellers who sell the ADULTERATED angry but the truth must be told.

Before I tell us how to identify Original or how to be careful to not buy fake, I want us to know that I did my own research with physical comparison of the original vs the fake. Also, I have seen, touched, smelt the ingredients and also tasted(mahaleb) one of the chebe ingredients. So, chebe is very harmless.

As for karkar oil, I have chatted with a Sudanese and seen what original karkar oil should look like and also can tell what it will smell like based on the ingredients. All these are with proofs. I did this research in 2018.

So if you must argue, bring the reasons and proof, don't just say whatever without proofs.

Now, it might interest us to know that the sellers of the fake know it doesn't work, but greed and lack of integrity cm concern for your hair make them to keep selling it.

Some of them have stopped selling because their buyers are not rebuying or they just decided to venture into another business. While some are still adamant because many new buyers are ignorant of this truth you are about to know

Now for those of us who like hair and want to see people's hair come alive, we do our best to give the best and authentic one.

So, what is chebe?

Chebe is a chadian secret to long hair. It is a powder made from some herbs and resins common to the chadian women in the villages.
These herbs include chebe seeds(lavender Croton) the main ingredient found in large quantity in Chad, mahaleb (a bitter spice used in cooking and also making humra by Sudanese) it has a fragrant smell when heated, cloves (spice most of us know), humra (perfume oil or made with perfumers alcohol by the Sudanese, common in the Arab world), resins(misik, samour) samour is from a tree, I honestly didnt check on misik, but misik has a very nice smell too used in making humra. But resins are from trees.

I must point that Miss Sahel from Chad is credited for bringing chebe to our notice. She noticed that though from Chad, her hair is not as long as the hair of the women in the village so she asked them what they use in their hair..
Then discovered that, not just Gene that works but this special hair powder has helped them to maintain their hair long and healthy.

How to identify Original chebe
From my comparison of a brand( name concealed) in Nigeria and the sample from Chad, I realized that most of what they sell in Nigeria is adulterated been that they get it from same source in Kano.

1. Color: Original chebe can be light brown or dark brown. Light brown smells nice and the color is because the seeds where not roasted before the women grinded it.
Dark brown smells roasted because the seeds where heated before they grinded it.
More like diff between roasted yam and cooked yam. Both smell like yam but one smell roasted while the other don't.

The color too can vary based on whether they roasted it too much or not. Whatever case, the two smell similar with the light brown been nice.
Original doesn't smell like spice or awful, no strong smell. Those are the adulterated, as they have mixed it up with spices like henna, curry etc which stains hands sometimes depending on the quantity they added, this made them to add perfume that cause it to have a kind of smell, you can't fathom. Been a mixture not tested by the chadian who have used it for several decades, it damages hair. So be ware.

2. Texture: Original is a smooth powder, it doesn't have to be grainy like the fake sellers claim. Smooth powder is better as it will not show well in your hair. Whether smooth or grainy, the smell is the main thing.

How to know original karkar oil
Karkar oil is Sudanese invention, and it helps to make hair thicker and also treat dandruff. Sudanese use it in hair and skin. It is made with sesame seed oil, beewax, animal fat, humra.
Because of the animal fat(sheep or cow fat), the humra is added so it doesn't smell bad.

I go ahead to use something richer than the sheep or cow fat and also included blend of essential oils which has made Back to Eden karkar oil very effective. I have used the karkar oil on my face which is the most sensitive part and of course I use the oil on my skin when needed. Ask the black oil seller if they can apply it to their face. I bet they can't as they know what they have mixed up is nit good for the skin.

Please note: karkar oil is not just sesame seed oil, it will be incomplete without the other ingredients. Otherwise, we can use sesame seed alone to see if you will get the same results.

Now based on these, Original karkar oil is light brown when melted or if the fat is reduced or you use a more nutritious edible animal fat oil,
So any black oil, or green oil are not Original karkar oil, please beware.

Original karkar oil works well with original chebe. Substituting the oil for other oil is not advisable as the ingredients in it are not in the oil you want to use and this original karkar oil is just perfect for the chebe. Example using coconut oil is not as perfect as using original karkar. It is more like 1 ingredients versus 4to9ingredients. There must always be difference.

How to spot:
Since you buy online , check out these to avoid buying fake
1. Any black oil posted with the powder, just know that the powder is also fake. Why? A seller interested in your hair growth should have done a research to ensure she gives you the right thing. Black or green karkar oil is fake.

2. Ask them the question of how it smells.
Does it have strong smell, does it smell like spice? If the seller says yes, DONT BUY IT. That is fake. Ask about the ingredients too. If they tell you anything different from what I explained for karkar and chebe, just know the seller is ignorant and just after your money.

3. To be on safe part, buy the light brown and it smells nice and works effectively too like the dark brown.

Combine all and make a decision. Use the spotline to eliminate the possibility of buying fake. Better still buy from our Distributors.

The combination of powder and karkar oil help to drastically reduce breakage, our product have helped a lot of people to restore their edges, soften hair, and with consistent use, help grow hair long.

Breakage is the major culprit of lack of hair growth.
Chebe reduces that from first use.

Honestly, continuous use of chebe grows the hair. Can you be patient using it?
