THINGS ULCER PATIENTS SHOULD AVOID (TRIGGERS)
1) Skipping Meals / Staying Hungry / Eating late at night:
Ulcers hate an empty stomach.
Staying too long without food allows stomach acid to irritate the ulcer more β pain worsens.
> Tip: Eat small frequent meals. Avoid long gaps.
2) Peppery & Spicy Foods:
Suya, pepper soup, ogbono sprinkled with too much pepper, etc. Pepper does not cause ulcers but it worsens the pain and inflammation. They irritate the already inflamed stomach lining.
3) Fizzy Drinks / Carbonated Drinks:
Coke, Fanta, Pepsi, Malt, energy drinks, etc.
They increase acid and bloating β more pain.
4) Alcohol:
Alcohol weakens the stomach lining and delays healing.
5) Excess Tea, Coffee, and Caffeine:
Caffeine increases stomach acid.
Switch to warm water or non-citrus teas (e.g., ginger tea in moderation).
6) NSAIDs (Painkillers like):
Ibuprofen
Diclofenac
Aspirin
Felvin (Piroxicam)
Indomethacin
They directly irritate the stomach and can cause ulcers or worsen existing ones.
> Safer alternatives: Paracetamol (when used correctly).
7) Smoking (including sh**ha):
Smoking slows ulcer healing and increases pain episodes.
8) Stress:
Stress doesnβt cause ulcers, but it worsens pain by increasing stomach acid.
9) Fried / Greasy foods:
Hard to digest β increases stomach workload and irritation.

*Leukemia* β may GOD protect us all from it β is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, the soft tissue inside bones where blood cells are made. Let's explain it clearly and helpfully:
πΏ 1. *What is Leukemia?*π
*π LEUKEMIA occurs when the bone marrow produces abnormal white blood cells* that do not function properly.
These cells grow uncontrollably, crowding out healthy red cells, white cells, and platelets β which causes many health problems.
βοΈ 2. *Major Types of Leukemia*
There are four main types:
*Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL):* Common in children.
*Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML):* Common in adults.
*Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL):* Develops slowly, mostly in older adults.
*Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML):* Grows gradually, may transform over time.
π‘ *3. Common Symptoms*
Constant fatigue or weakness
Pale skin and shortness of breath
Frequent infections or fevers
Easy bruising or bleeding (nosebleeds, gum bleeding)
Weight loss and night sweats
Bone or joint pain
Swollen lymph nodes, liver, or spleen
π 4 *. Causes and Risk Factors*
While *the exact cause is often unknown,* the following may increase risk of Leukemia disease:
* Radiation or chemical exposure (like benzene)
* Smoking
* Certain genetic conditions (like Down syndrome)
* Family history of leukemia
πΈ *5. Modern Medical Treatment*
*
Treatment depends on the type and stage:
* Chemotherapy: Main treatment to kill leukemia cells
* Radiation therapy: Used in some cases
* Targeted therapy & Immunotherapy: Modern drugs that attack leukemia cells precisely
* Bone marrow or stem cell transplant: Replaces diseased marrow with healthy cells

*βGod heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds.β*
So patience, prayer, and reliance on *GODβs Mercy are as healing* as medicine itself. πΈ
