Last week, I took a poll in my wellness community to understand what was most important to them. The overwhelming response was the desire to improve their health. I love that so many of us are on this journey together! Health is such a precious gift, but the first step towards improving it may surprise you—it’s GRATITUDE.
Before we dive into plans, routines, or remedies, I want to encourage you to take a moment and be grateful for the health you 'currently' have. So often, we focus on where our health is lacking or what’s not working, but today, let’s shift our perspective.
Here’s what I want you to do:
Take out a pen and list 10 things about your health that you are grateful for.
It could be something as simple as:
1. The ability to breathe deeply
2. Waking up each morning with energy
3. Your strong heartbeat that keeps you alive
4. The clarity of your mind to think and reason
5. Your muscles that allow you to move, even if not perfectly
6. Your immune system that fights off sickness
7. The taste buds that let you enjoy food
8. Your eyes that help you see the world
9. Your hands that help you create and work
10. The moments of rest that rejuvenate your body
Each of these aspects, no matter how small, is a testament to how wonderfully made you are, as Psalm 139:14 says.
Focusing on what’s working in your body—rather than what isn’t—is key to shifting your mindset towards better health. Gratitude is a foundation for healing. When we acknowledge the blessings in our body, we are opening ourselves up to more vitality and well-being.
Philippians 4:6 reminds us: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
As you make improvements in your health, remember to do it with a grateful heart. Gratitude is the fertile soil where healthy habits grow. By appreciating where you are right now, you allow more blessings to flow into your life—including improved health.
So today, write your list of 10 things. Be specific. Be intentional. Let gratitude be the first step in your jour journey towards better health. I’m cheering you on every step of the way!

Hello Glow Community!
I'm Lhara, and I'm excited to share my passion for holistic health with you. Holistic health is all about looking at the big picture—mind, body, and spirit—to achieve true well-being. It’s not just about treating symptoms, but nurturing every part of you.
Here’s a glimpse into what holistic health means to me:
1. Mind: Mental wellness is a cornerstone of holistic health. Practices like mindfulness, meditation, and positive thinking can transform your mindset. Try starting your day with a few minutes of deep breathing or a gratitude journal. You'll go about your day with springs in your step.
2. Body: Physical health goes beyond just exercise; it includes what you eat, how you sleep, and how you manage stress. I love incorporating nutritious, whole foods into my diet and staying active with fun workouts that I enjoy.
3. Spirit: Spiritual wellness might mean different things to different people. For some, it’s about connecting with nature, for others, it’s through faith or personal reflection. Finding what resonates with you can bring a sense of peace and purpose. Find what your spirit connects with so you stay grounded no matter what storm comes.
Holistic health is a journey, not a destination. It's about making small, sustainable changes that enhance your overall well-being. I'm here to support you every step of the way with tips, inspiration, and a community that cares. I am the coach for you.
Let’s embark on this holistic health journey together and glow from the inside out! What’s one area of your life you’d like to focus on for better holistic health? Share in the comments below!
With love and light,
Lhara 💚

In your journey towards better health and well-being, it's easy to focus on the end goals—losing weight, building muscle, reducing stress, or recovering from an illness.
However, one crucial aspect that often gets overlooked is the importance of "showing your work."
Just like in math or science, documenting and reflecting on the steps you take towards your health goals can be incredibly beneficial.
Here's why:
• You get to track your progress. It'll motivate you to stay on track but also provide a sense of accomplishment as you see your progress over time.
• You can identify patterns that either help or hinder your progress. For example, you might notice that you feel more energized on days when you eat a balanced breakfast or that your sleep quality improves when you stop using your phone/devices two hours before bed.
• You get to appreciate the improvements that might not be immediately visible but are crucial for long-term health.
Documenting your health journey helps in building sustainable habits. When you record what works and what doesn’t, you are better equipped to create a routine that you can maintain in the long run. This reduces the likelihood of reverting to old, unhealthy habits and increases the chances of lasting change.
So, how do you do this? How do you show your workings?
1. Keep a health journal. You've likely never thought about this or tried this but keep one to log in your daily activities and always be honest and detailed in your entries.
2. Set specific SMART goals and break them down into small manageable tasks you can do daily. Document progress on your goals as often as possible.
3. Track your health metrics. This will include your weight, body measurements, sleep hours, water intake, mood, and energy levels. This will provide a holistic view of your health.
4. Take time each week to review your entries. Reflect on what’s working, what’s not, and why.
5. Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.
6. Be flexible. Life happens, and sometimes you might miss a workout or indulge in a less-than-healthy meal. Document these moments without judgment and adjust your plan as needed.

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to put off taking care of our health. We often think we'll have time to focus on it later, but the truth is, the best time to prioritize your health is NOW.
Taking proactive steps towards a healthier lifestyle today can make a significant difference in your future well-being. This is prevention. You should try it.
Here’s why it’s crucial to do what you can for your health while you still can:
• Prevention can reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, obesity, a host of organ diseases, and even some cancers
• Engaging in healthy habits regularly will help you have a better quality of life
• By prioritizing your health, you can inspire those around you, especially family members and children.
Your health is your most valuable asset, and taking care of it should be a top priority. Don't wait for a wake-up call to start making changes. Do what you can for your health while you still can, and enjoy the benefits of a healthier, happier life.

Create healthy habits, not restrictions. Let's build wellness rather than diseases.
Cleansing your skin during the day is important but cleansing at night is importanter
This is because your body/skin does more work during the day. It's more exposed to the environment, comes in contact with various surfaces, germs and dust that must be washed off before you go to bed so your skin can rejuvenate properly
At night, your skin switches from 'protect' mode to 'repair' mode and it's time for the skin to recover from the day's stresses. Skipping on this routines can clog your pores, cause your skin to be irritated and worsen any skin condition you have. Sleeping on clean sheets is equally as important.
Product used: Moisturizing Black Soap
Get up now if you haven't cleansed your day off you and make it a conscious daily habit. Share this with your friends so we all can 'glow' together.
