I have gained a few new followers in the past weeks, so permit me to re-introduce myself.🙋

My name is Adejumoke Omobayo. I am a content writer, ghostwriter, transcriber, professional copyeditor and book writing consultant.

I am the author of three books, a book writing template, and a Wordpreneur's toolkit.

For the past six years, I have worked with individuals and authors to write content, ghostwrite books and polish hundreds of manuscripts into sensible and error-free masterpieces that sell and create maximum impact.

As a content writer and copyeditor with over 8 years of experience, keen eyes, attention to detail, love for reading, and a robust sense of storytelling; I have worked on a wide range of fiction books, non-fiction books and academic texts.

I am the Lead Consultant at AM Consultants and Trainers, where I and my team provide content writing, ghostwriting, transcribing, copyediting and digital publishing services for clients.

I am also the head of the editing team at two publishing houses, that has published countless amazing authors.

I am committed to staying up-to-date with relevant industry standards and best practices and working with every client to bring their vision to life in high-quality books.

I am a public speaker, virtual trainer, and a teen mentor, who speaks at teenagers' and youth events and conferences and teach young people how to effectively navigate their youth.

Over the years, I have hosted and trained people on content writing, copyediting and digital marketing. In November 2022, I had an amazing experience training 80 PwDs (Persons with Disabilities) on Digital marketing.

I have written content such as website copy, pitch decks, email campaigns, social media posts and blog posts for individuals, brands and businesses.

I have also ghostwritten books for clients in Nigeria, United States of America, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.

I have been featured on Metro FM 97.7 to share about my love for writing and copyediting.

My skills in copyediting and proofreading ensure that every piece of content I work on and put out is error-free, captivating and sensible.

In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Planning, a Master's degree in Geography (Climatology option), and I have received trainings in Digital marketing, Content writing and strategy and Storytelling.

I am always looking for ways to improve my craft and stay on top of my writing and copyediting game. So, whether I am working on a statement of purpose, a novel, a term paper, a children's story book, or a Master's thesis; my goal is to create content that connects with the target audience and delivers value.

I strongly believe in this: 'Whatever your hands find to do, do it excellently well.'

I love to travel to new places and meet new people. In March this year, I traveled to the Republic of Benin and Togo, and I intend to travel to three countries I have never been to before the year ends

Let me share about what a new client said to me today, with you.

But first, this is how it started.

Last week Friday, as I picked up laundry from her and checked the condition of the clothes, I noticed that a part of one of the 'buba' armholes needed stitching. They were all her husband's clothes—senator outfits and agbada

After, we washed and starched and before I started to iron, I brought out a needle and thread and stitched the torn armhole.

I didn't think much of it because growing up, one of the things my mum hated was to see her children in torn clothes; no matter how little the tear was.

She saw it as a sign of irresponsibility and lack of self-care to be aware that a cloth you have on or intend to put on, is torn; yet you do nothing about it.🤷

I learnt to be that intentional from her.

As I started to iron, I noticed that the rope in one of the 'sokotos' had loosened, and one end had slipped into the band of the 'sokoto'.

I stopped ironing, called Superteen 2 to get me a big size safety pin, and I pulled the rope through the band and tied both ends together.

Then, I completed the ironing, folded and packed the clothes and delivered them yesterday evening.

Fast forward to this evening, I received a call from the client.👇

She: Wait oo, Mummy XYZ, were you the one that fixed that rope back into my husband's 'sokoto'?

Me: Yes ma (I said it cautiously because I didn't know why she was asking).💁

She: Haaaa, thank you oo. I always find it hard to fix them back whenever they remove like that. Wo, I like this your service oo. Even your packaging sef. E ku ise (well done).

Me: (Dancing 'skelewu' in my head) You're most welcome, ma. That's how we do business at Lade's Laundry. We just love to take care of you.😁

She: Abi oooo.🤣🤣🤣
