So I was standing in line at the supermarket, minding my business, holding nothing but a pack of gum and my dignity… when this man walks in.
Not just any man.
Tall, deep voice, smile that could melt a frozen heart… but the HAIR?
Whew.
Fresh fade, clean edges, waves doing the most.
He looks right at me and says,
“Excuse me… I think you dropped something.”
I froze.
“I don’t think so,” I said.
He leaned in closer — close enough for me to smell the cologne-that-should-be-illegal.
“You dropped my attention.”
Sir.
SIRRR.
The way my soul almost left the building.
I laughed, because what was I supposed to do? Burst into flames?
Then he looked at my hair and said:
“You know… if I ever get the chance to take you out, you better show up with your hair lookin’ just like that.”
I raised an eyebrow.
“Oh really? And what if I don’t?”
He smirked.
“Then I’ll reschedule. Because a woman with hair like that deserves the right spotlight.”
And before I could even react, he winked, grabbed his water bottle, and walked off like he didn’t just ruin my entire day in the best possible way.
I swear, if he had said ONE more smooth thing, I would’ve followed him like a lost puppy.

😂 My niece Gold almost gave me a heart attack today… but not for the reason you think. 😂

So I was sitting in the living room, minding my own business, when Gold suddenly storms in with that suspicious look kids get when they’ve either made art… or made trouble.
She goes,

“Tito/Tita! Don’t be mad, okay?”
(That’s when you know you should absolutely start panicking.)

Then she proudly shows me…
a cookie.
A HALF-EATEN cookie.

I said, “Gold… why would I be mad about a cookie?”
And with the confidence of a CEO giving a TED Talk, she replies:
“Because it was yours.”

Apparently she found it on the table, took one bite, loved it, and immediately regretted her life choices when she realized she had stolen my snack.
Then she handed it back to me like a peace offering — tiny bite mark and all — and said:

“It’s okay, you can still eat the other side.”
