Who is Emily Wale - Koya?
Emily Wale-koya is a motivational speaker, internet business strategist and personal brand coach who's on a rampage to arm women with the tools needed for them to become financial powerhouse(s) and top influencers.
She ventured into entrepreneurship from her university days and has garnered over 13 years experience in business.
Her hyper unconventional strategies for wealth creation in the 21st century has made her a highly sought after Coach. She made her first million as a youth corper in Cross Rivers State.
Today, she's the proud founder of "BrandMBA", her flagship online branding school designed to help women ignite their purpose and unleash their passion so they work smart, make bigger profits and greater impact in the world.
Emily is happily married to Adewale Koya; her biggest support. Together they have three cuties; Olamide, Oladimeji and Olajumoke Wale-koya.
-------------------------------------
I respect her opinion about a lot of things and generally accept them, but I don't agree with her on an issue and she has been gnawing at me on social media about this.
How does this benefit you?
There is too much noise on the internet. Everyone is suddenly an expert.
Sharing their thoughts which we all see and feel motivated by, however we are most times left confused.
Two of the most confusing propositions are;
Be Passionate VS Be Practical.
Follow your passion you hear, but HOW does one follow his or her PASSION and build a real business PRACTICALLY around it?
Both propositions are right, but is there a proposition that doesn't pit both of them against each other?
The debate with Emily Wale-Koya and Nnamdi Ibe.
First of its kind in Nigeria, trust us, you don't want to be told.

Pride.
If pride was as physical as cancer, I guess I would say I had it at stage 4.
The tumor called my pride was so large it had a life of its own living outside my body and it followed me like an ugly twin.
I have always been blessed to see things differently so getting into consulting was no issue for me.
But this tumor gave me the limiting belief that I knew it all.
I was a business consultant and you should listen to me.
Well I got some incredible results but something was missing.
Something my pride wasn't letting me admit to myself.
It's been some years now and I have swallowed that pride (believe me it was a heavy pill - still swallowing it's smaller cousins that show up once in a while).
I have sat down to learn from young men like Promise Excel, Zim Simon, Joshua Triumphant, Paul Confidence, and young women like Precious Alex, Serena Francis, etc.
I have taken classes from Emily Wale-koya, Emeka Nobis, Lilian Oparaji Uba Nwogu.
I have had sessions with mentors like Festus Odigie-Erewele, Charles Oputa (MD Studio 24) , Pastor Wisdom Osiri, etc.
I have listened to Legends like Fela Durotoye, Sam Adeyemi, David Ibiyeomie, Mike Murdock.
Each session expands on what I know, what I have experienced and how I can share that with my clients.
What is your own cancer?
How is it effecting your business?
Emeka Nobis (Writer & Thought Leader) and I will be working with 30 intending and working business owners in PORT HARCOURT to take a potshot at their business ideas.
It is the BUSINESS MASTERY Consulting & Coaching Session.
The focus of our session is to help you determine the real solution your business offers, how long it can offer these solutions and the transformation you need to be able to do this.
You should be able to look at your business (or idea) and determine its future at least for the next 5 years.
You will truly identify the problem your business (or idea) solves, who needs it and if they are willing to pay for it.
You will discover if you really are in business or you just want to create something.
You will be able to identify the core skills you have that will be beneficial to the business and look for help regarding the skills you need for your business, but do not have.
Date : Sunday, 29th October, 2017.
Fee : N7,000.
Time : 4 p.m
Venue: Port Harcourt. - Location will be disclosed to participants
