Brow Me Up - The EVOLUTION of Microblading
16/12/2021
It's super important to keep a certain distance from the mirror when grooming and filling in your brows. Using a magnifying mirror to trim, tweeze or fill-in your brows can result in over doing it. Try to keep an arms-length distance when assessing your brows. Otherwise we tend to be over critical and over-tweeze because we lose perspective of the entire face. It's so important to have the right amount of brow to create balance in the face.

Tools are very important in the “Eyebrows Spa”
60x zoomed skin throughout the lens of a microscope.
To be able to evaluate the conditions of your follicles a microscope is mandatory.
We need to see very closely the chances of recovery that your brows has. A follicle can be dehydrated and starving but if treated well can “produce” good hair again.
Just bear in mind that it takes time, patience and passion.

White clay: benefits
The white clay we use on the skin, is a product composed of small silicate particles. In this specific case, it also has aluminum. Among all available clays, white is among the lightest, as it has a pH nearest to skin pH.
It revitalize the skin, help lighten blemishes, smooth and heal, and help reduce inflammation. It also helps to renew the skin, as it does a light exfoliation. It also removes oil without dehydrating the skin and absorbs toxins and impurities.
💆🏽♀️In the hair
Clay has nutrients that hydrate the hair, restore the lost keratin in damaged strands and strengthen the scalp eliminating dead cells and impurities. In addition, it can stimulate the oxygenation of hair bulbs, helping hair growth.
White clay has an anti-residue, detoxifying and bactericidal action, which helps to reduce the oiliness of the scalp.
Other attributes:
* Firms the skin;
* Eliminates dandruff;
* Helps in healing;
* Prevents contamination and fights infections;
* Lightens the skin;

Rosemary is a culinary and healing herb. This woody perennial is native to the Mediterranean region, where it’s been used as food and medicine for centuries.
The oil’s health uses range from antioxidant benefits and anti-inflammation to memory enhancement and more.
🍃Mediterranean cultures’ use of rosemary in hair rinses to promote hair growth for hundreds of years as supporting evidence.🍃
• Can rosemary oil treat hair loss •
The idea that rosemary oil encourages hair growth may come from the rosemary’s basic health benefits. The plant in essential oil form is said to:
* have anti-inflammatory properties
* promote nerve growth
* improve circulation
🍃Like peppermint essential oil (also used to promote hair growth), rosemary essential oil strengthens circulation. As a result, it could prevent hair follicles from being starved of blood supply, dying off, and leading to hair loss. Beyond stimulating hair growth, rosemary essential oil is used to prevent premature graying and dandruff.🍃
• Do studies support the claims? •
🔬According to some scientific evidence, rosemary may benefit nerve tissue.
Carnosic acid, an active ingredient in the plant, healed tissue and nerve damage in one study. This ability to heal nerve endings may rejuvenate nerves in the scalp too, in turn possibly restoring hair growth.
🔬One 2015 trial Trusted Source
pitted the essential oil against minoxidil, commercially known as Rogaine. Both were used on human subjects with androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness).
Results showed that rosemary essential oil was just as effective as minoxidil.

What is it?
It is a type of clay.
The name describes the color of the clay, which comes from its combination of iron oxides and decomposed matter — typically algae or chlorophyll.
In addition to the components that give green clay its coloring, the clay contains plenty of other trace minerals.
This includes:
* montmorillonite
* dolomite
* magnesium
* calcium
* potassium
* manganese
* phosphorus
* aluminum
* silicon
* zinc
* cobalt
* copper
* selenium
What is it used for?
Green clay has a naturally negative electrical charge that will attach to positively charged toxins topically, in the bloodstream...
Perceived topical benefits include:
* drawing out impurities from the pores
* exfoliating dead skin cells
* toning and firming the skin
* stimulating circulation
* helping heal blemishes
* soothing cuts and scrapes, minor burns, insect bites, and sore muscles
How do you know if it’s making a difference?
Immediately after using the mask, you should see clearer pores and a brighter complexion.
You might also notice that your skin has a red flush. This flush is temporary and is anecdotally believed to result from a boost in circulation, and THIS IS VERY GOOD FOR THE EYEBROW’S AREA WHERE YOU WANT TO RESTORE THE HAIR THAT IS HAVING TROUBLE TO GROW.
💡After continued use, you might notice more even skin texture, refined pores, and less surface oils.💡

Brow lamination is a new trend in the brow industry and is originally from Russia. It's the best procedure for taming tough and unruly hairs as it sets them in place so every hair lies in the same direction, giving a just-combed effect.

🚨Major tip Alert 🚨
Full, thick, beautiful eyebrows aren’t a passing trend—they’re here to stay. Not only do eyebrows frame our face, but research has shown they are the key to helping us look more youthful. If you’re hoping to increase the density of your brows but have over-tweezed or over-waxed, I encourage you to put down those tweezers, postpone your next waxing appointment and keep reading!
When you’re “growing out” your brows, patience is key. Why? Eyebrows will NOT grow overnight. The eyebrow growth cycle is typically about 4 months. Let’s take a closer look at the science behind eyebrow hair growth. (Don’t worry, you won’t get graded on this information—I promise!)
*The eyebrow growth cycle*
Did you know that all body hair (including your eyebrows) has a 3-phase growth cycle? While eyebrow hair, scalp hair and eyelashes may all grow at different rates, they all still follow the same 3-phase cycle. Here’s how the cycle works:
Anagen (1st Phase) – Commonly known as the active growth phase, the cells in the root of the hair quickly divide—resulting in new hair growth.
Catagen (2nd Phase) – After the Anagen phase is complete, a very short transition period starts. During the Catagen phase, the blood supply to the follicle is halted—and hair growth temporarily stops.
Telogen (3rd Phase) – Lastly, hair enters the Telogen or “resting” phase. Throughout this period, hair is inactive and doesn’t grow. After the Telogen phase, the cycle begins again.
Keep in mind, scars, thyroid conditions, underlying medical conditions, excessive tweezing, waxing and threading, certain medications, and genetics can all impact how well your eyebrows grow. Consult with your physician if you have specific questions about your medical history and your eyebrows.

I have started my journey as Permanent Make Up Artist after years struggling to get myself at the point I would be happy no matter what could happen.
A job rarely would bring you happiness if you aren’t passionate about what you do.
After being denied an opportunity n different job roles I got into a really dark place when I blamed myself, blamed the language, the cultural differences… but then I realized that I was looking towards the wrong direction.
I have always got a talent to make things with my hands. Drawing was one of my gifts.
So I decided to become an Eyebrow Specialist.
I do Microblading, brows design, henna and many others. At the moment I’m studying about brows reconstruction. An amazing immersion in the subject that combines clay and essential oils. it’s an amazing and talented specialist in this area.
Working to enhance women’s beauty helped me to become a better one.
