There was also a talk session with the people involved in the project, B-Boy Wicket (Wicket (B-Boy)) himself, and the director of the documentary. It took place before the screening, and it really helped deepen our understanding and respect for what we were about to watch.

During the conversation, they also mentioned ADHIP (ADHIP), a company that has been leading the Japanese dance scene through competitions like Dance Delight (Dance Delight). They brought up an “Old School Dictionary” video created by them—something like a lesson DVD, but one that truly represents the culture.

That video features Wicket, FLO Master, Poppin’ Pete (Poppin' Pete), and Skeeter Rabbit, among other legends, and it reminded me how much the Japanese dance scene has influenced the world. It made me genuinely happy to see that connection being recognized.

I still clearly remember Wicket’s silhouette and movements from that video. No matter how many times I watch it, it feels creative, powerful, and full of personality—it truly represents who he is.

I’m really grateful that I got to experience both the film and the festival.
