A little glimpse of my past Sunday ✨

Beauty professionals. New launches. Great conversations. Good bites. A lot of inspiration.

Not a bad way to spend the afternoon

A few pieces of May

The truth is..
After my training, I didn’t know anyone in the Netherlands.
No clients. No connections. Nothing.

So I had to figure out everything myself.
I tried everything possible just to get someone to trust me,
to find models,to get my first clients.

I was hungry!
Really hungry to learn and to grow fast.
That’s the difference.
Being proactive and starting immediately gives you a real chance to become successful.

But if after your training you stop
and do nothing…
it’s almost impossible to progress.
Simple as that.

If you feel the same…
if you’re hungry to learn and grow,
and you want to understand
how to actually start your business the right way
not just the technique, but:

• business skills
• marketing
• client acquisition
• content creation
• pricing
• salon management and much more

I’ve got something for you.

We can do a 30-minute call
where we audit your current level
and exactly what you need to implement next.

Send me a message with “AUDIT” and I’ll get back to you

Everyone talks about raising prices.

“Show your worth.”
“You invested in yourself.”
Ok, true.

But let’s be honest, you can do 10, 20, 50 trainings…
and still offer the service in the exact same environment.
Same room.
Same setup.
Same experience.

So how is a client supposed to feel the difference?

It’s like calling yourself fine dining…
maybe you trained a lot, maybe you’re talented, but the service is average, the location is off, the space doesn’t feel right.
You can’t expect Michelin-level prices if the whole experience doesn’t match.

It’s the same in beauty.
It’s not enough to be good at what you do.Everything around your work has to be at that level too.
Yes, a few clients will still pay.
But most of them don’t care how many courses you did.
They care how it feels to be your client. That’s what justifies the price.
At some point, your personal investment is not enough anymore.
The experience has to match.

If you feel like you improved
but your business didn’t

DM “AUDIT” and I’ll show you what’s missing.

The beauty industry has changed.

What worked 8–10 years ago doesn’t work the same way today.

More competition.
More salons.
More artists entering the market every year.
Doing good work is important but today technique alone is not enough to grow a real beauty business.

Growth now requires structure:
marketing, client retention, organization, branding and systems.
This is the difference between being busy and building a business.

If you are just starting or already running a beauty business and feel stuck with growth, send us a DM.
Let’s see if we can help you build a stronger strategy.

Social media belongs online.
Clients belong in the salon.

We live in an era where starting a business without social media is almost impossible
and that’s a huge advantage for small business owners, artists and self-employed professionals.

But it can also become a huge downside
if you don’t clearly know your WHY.

Let me explain.

Someone who is truly busy in the salon
is not on Instagram 24/7
unless they have a team doing the treatments
while they focus on marketing and strategy.

The other option?
They do the treatments
and delegate the marketing.

The problem is that many of us try to do both at the same time
and not as well as we expect,
especially when comparing ourselves to other lash artists online.

That’s when frustration starts.
You work a lot,
you don’t feel real growth,
clients don’t increase the way you expected,
and online validation feels inconsistent.

The solution?

Start with your WHY.
Then decide your focus:
– social media presence
– client base growth

Social media is just the window.
Every real client should be the fuel of your business.

Posts are just the decoration
not the engine.

If this makes sense to you,
you’re probably building something serious.

Being fully booked often feels like success.
Busy days, full calendar, clients coming in nonstop.

But many professionals only realize much later
that being busy and being profitable
are two very different things.

When a client pays €60, that number feels good.
But what really matters is what stays after rent, products, taxes, time, and all the invisible costs of running a business.

The moment you start separating
revenue from real profit,
your mindset shifts.

You stop making emotional decisions.
You stop chasing “more clients”.
You start building something that actually supports you.

That’s usually the moment
a business stops feeling heavy
and starts making sense.

If you want to understand what real profitability feels like,
this is a conversation worth having.

You give so much every day.
You deserve a business that gives back.

If you’re ready for your next level, you’ll know where to find me.

The fastest way to LOSE a client?
Make her feel stupid.

Not everyone knows the difference between a design and a treatment.
Not everyone knows what to ask.
Not everyone has done beauty services before.

Your job is to guide her.
To explain.
To make her feel safe.

If she leaves embarrassed…
she won’t just leave your salon.
She leaves your brand forever.

Professionals educate.
Entitled people judge.

Choose who you want to be.

Save this for the days you forget your power.
Share it with a colleague who needs the reminder.

I archived a big part of this account because I’m entering a different phase.
Not a rebrand, not a trend just a genuine shift in what I want to share and who I want to speak to.

After so many years in the beauty industry, I’ve realized I can help in a different way: not with “pretty posts,” but with the part nobody explains, how to build something solid, professional and long-term. Nothing invented, just real facts from existing businesses, from real experience!

If you’re here for that, stay. ✨
If not, that’s absolutely fine because on our new account .studio we continue to share all our work and our technical Academy content.
So if you haven’t yet, go follow us there, especially if you’re a client at our salon.
