This client was new to me and she hadn’t done anything to her hair for a while. Her wishes were more clear blond and also more cold colour. As I explained to her, cold blond is a high maintenance colour and it doesn’t matter how light I get her highlights, at some point it will turn to more golden blond. However if she keeps up with colour corrections at a salon, a cold blond is possible. I wasn’t sure if I get her light enough in on appointment, as I didn’t know her hair. It’s very important to know that not all hair are the same and what is possible on this clients hair may not be possible on yours. I used 3 hours on this client and the results as you can see on the picture. Aftercare is as important as the salon care. She needs to use products that are correct for her treated hair.
Violet shampoo from Joico will cancel out the yellow in her hair.
The Blond life series from Joico will keep her blond hair fresh looking and shiny.

Classic highlights with colour-correction. Used colours and styling

The pictures are in order backwards. (No filter or editing on the pictures!)We ended here with the first picture after 2 rounds of highlights. I used 1,9% developer to bleach her hair gently. After I did a colour correction and glossing making the hair shiny and “natural “ looking.(using and )

Sometimes we need a change and the hair some tlc. I’ve done some baby light all over and glossed the hair to a cooler tone. Being blond is a high maintenance look and the hair needs good product at home to keep the freshness of the colour and shine. Consulting your hairdresser for good tips on this is essential!
