Wonder Spring – First Flush – 2021 (Exotic Clonal Av2)has been the BEST SELLING TEA FROM PAST 3 YEARS. It comes from the beautiful Guranse Tea Estate. This tea has been made with special care and has become a ‘BRAND’ representing this garden.

The dry leaves are very tender shoots of the newly planted Av2 Clones. The are plucked by trained personnel and withered with utmost care. The rolling is done partially by hand and a smaller rolling table is used. It is then dried carefully to maintain the perfect balance of the flavor.

The dry leaves are long tender uncut leaves with a prominent greenish bloom. The aroma is of baked almonds mixed with honey. When brewed for 4 minutes we get bright greenish yellow liquor which has rich floral sweet tones. The taste is delicate and floral. Sip starts with a woody note and towards mid sip it turns into pleasant sweet floral tone. The aftertaste is heavenly and keeps lingering in the palate. It is one of the best teas we tasted this season.

DRY LEAVES: Long twisted bright greenish leaves with plenty of silver tips.

LIQUOR: Bright yellowish green with sweet floral aroma.

INFUSION: Bright green with whole leaves and passion fruit like aroma.



STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fresh water brought to 1st Boil (85C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
