My mini moments in Cult Duo HQ this week 🖤

Even after 10 years in the industry, I’m romanticising my life as a lash & brow artist and educator. It’s all in the small, simple moments.

Courage doesn’t wait for clarity — it creates it.

This week someone said to me, “If I were you, I would have just stayed where you were for another 5 years, even if I hated it… and then maybe I would’ve considered making a change. You’re so brave.”

I’ve always believed in the magic of courage — how it can completely change the direction of your life and expand you in ways you’d never expect. Courage to recreate yourself. Courage to move. To move on. To leap. To take the risk. To show up. To carry on. To say no. To say yes. To do every single thing your heart desires.

We’re not here to stay stuck or stagnant. We owe it to ourselves to chase our fullest potential - and more importantly - to grow in the process. In order to do that, we must be courageous.

And to be completely honest, I’m not always 100% certain about every movement in my life. There’s a lot that feels unknown and unsettling. But I show up and give it a go anyway. Trusting that even without all the answers, putting one foot in front of the other will take me to exactly where I’m meant to be. Because at the end of the day, there’s no wrong or right. There’s just experiences.

Courage isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about showing up, trying, and daring to live your life fully.

37 Jervois Road, Day One.

In true Lizzy fashion, we were organising and moving in right up to 20 seconds before my first client of the day - and pulled it off somehow.

Regardless of what could have felt like chaos, my first day in the new studio brought me so much relief. The alignment feels more genuine and authentic to my vision, and my values. Safe to say this has allowed the creativity to flow & grow baby.
And this is a testament to the importance of your environment 🌱

It hasn’t been an easy feat moving my whole life annnnddd business to Auckland! But after 8 months, we are finally here - in our own space🖤

Over the past few days I have been a busy wee bee breathing life into a sacred space that has already shifted so much energy for me.

A private space of self-care rituals, for my clients to unwind & relax, breathing life into their own energy and confidence.

A fresh space of my own to breathe life into my vision, purpose, passions, and that will allow for my business to thrive in it’s own right.

And a supportive, abundant space for students to harbour their own purpose and passion, their place of knowledge and growth.

I got my mitts on the keys only a few days ago, SO there’s still bits and pieces finding their way to their new home here. But for now, it’s perfectly incomplete, and I’m staying in flow as it all comes together. I know it will be what it’s meant to be - an incredible and transformative space - all in divine timing. After all, this ain’t my first rodeo.

And with that, after 8 months of business in Auckland, I am brining you Cult Duo 2.0. As of tomorrow, Wednesday 6th Aug, I am sooooooooo excited to be welcoming you into 37 Jervois Road, Ponsonby.
