To my favourite family of hair and makeup clients, the time has finally come 💇🏼‍♀️💄

After years and years of hairdressing, and lots of big changes in my life over the past year, I have now moved into the Team Leader management role of Learn to Swim and Customer Support at Birkenhead Pool and Leisure centre 💙 It is a massive role and surely takes up all of my time along with the kids, but I have never been happier!

I am in the final stages of wrapping up dates for clients, and am sorry I have been so busy with all these changes going on and haven't been able to fit everyone in.

Thank you all for growing with me over these past several years. I appreciate each and every one of you for all your support and banter, watching your whanau grow, giving your little ones their first haircut, fixing your husband's 🤣 and having the privilege of being apart of your big day's 👰‍♀ I will miss you all!

I hope you have all been well with the much expected Omicron surge circulating within our communities.

As per the new government guidelines for the traffic light system, Vaccine passes will no longer be mandatory to receive hairdressing services 🚦

Also, as some of you may know I work part time as a swim instructor during the day 😊🏊

This reduces some of my weekday availability as well as being able to take on new clients. But I am still here for my existing clientele 💇🏼‍♀️

Weekends, late nights and some day appointments will be available to existing clients only, as I have now reached max capacity and will not be taking on anyone new. This still allows me to spend much needed time with my children ❤️

I am currently booked up for the next few weeks, navigating Omicron rebookings and isolations 😷

If you would like a booking for the end of April please do not hesitate to contact me, earlier the better to ensure your spot 😊

Hi to all my lovely Auckland clients 🌼🌸🌻🌺

As you may know hairdressers are now back into the swing of things, with the government announcement catching us all by surprise 💇🏼‍♀️

I have now contacted everyone on my waitlist for bookings and have very few spaces left before Christmas, I will unfortunately not be taking on any new clientele during this period🎄🎅🤶

There will be some services I am unable to provide along with a few more rules then normal to keep us all safe.

As a close contact business, I am now only allowed to operate under the new traffic light system, which requires me to sight/scan your vaccine passports in line with the red and orange light framework.

I am truly sorry to those who have been affected by this.

What this means for bookings going forward:

🚦I will be unable to service anyone who is unvaccinated while we are in 🧡 orange or ❤ red.

🚦Anybody can receive hair services in 💚 green.

🚦 I am also fully vaccinated and continuing to follow the necessary health and safety measures to keep us all safe along with mask use and regular hand sanitizing as well as equipment cleaning.

🚦As I am a mobile business, I will list your address on my covid app for tracing purposes.

🚦Children under 12 years, along with medical exemptions from the vaccine passport can still recieve their haircuts.

🚦 If you or anyone in your household becomes unwell before your appointment, please contact me to reschedule 💓 Or if you need to reschedule for any reason, please let me know so I can fill this space.

🚦Payment options:
I will need to update you with my new business bank details for bank transfer (via hnry). If I have seen you just before lockdown occured you will already have this from me ☺️ There is now an invoice option which also allows me to offer credit card payments. If you would like to pay via this option, it does incur a 2.9% fee however (via hnry) and I will need to update your email address for invoicing purposes.

We are finally nearing a bit of normalcy during this difficult time, and you all deserve your hair done after such a long ride in lockdown 💓 which also happens to coincide with the busiest time of the year 🎄 so I thank you all for your patience and understanding at this time and look forward to seeing you all very soon!

I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe! I know it has been a long time in lockdown and you will all be itching to get your hair done once permitted ❤️

I just wanted to update you all on future bookings, I currently have a list of clients I will be contacting to schedule in their appointments once I am able to return to work.

If you think you will be wanting a future appointment please let me know as my list is growing and I want to make sure I will be able to fit you all in once we open up for face to face services 💇‍♀️

Everyone whom I have already had contact with regarding resceduling bookings out of lockdown etc are currently on my list so no need to worry 😊

Under the current guidelines, I will not be able to return until level 3.3 or until we move to the traffic light system where I am able to work under red light.

With the ever changing regulations, we are unsure when this maybe. However there is a possibility we could see this happening by the beginning of December 🤞

I am pleased to let you know I will be continuing to take all necessary health and safety precautions to keep everyone safe once we return.

From 11.59pm Tuesday 17 August, all of New Zealand will move to Alert Level 4.

This measure will remain in place for 3 days until 11.59pm 20 August for all of New Zealand, with the exception of Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula with both staying in Level 4 likely for the next 7 days.

This is a response to a community outbreak in Auckland which is currently under investigation and possibly linked to the Delta variant.

International evidence and science around the Delta variant shows that it is twice as infectious and more liable to cause severe illness.

The decision to change Alert Levels reinforces the need to take swift and robust action around the latest case to detect and stamp out the possibility of any further transmission.
