When I first started my nail tech journey, I was honestly terrified of e-files. I thought hand filing was the only safe option and that e-files would damage nails.

It’s not the tool that’s dangerous, it’s how it’s used. With the right education and training, an e-file is one of the best tools a nail tech can have.

💡 Here’s why I love them:
• They speed up service time without compromising quality.
• They allow for precise, clean work (especially around cuticles with the correct bit).
• When used correctly, they are completely safe.

If you’ve ever heard of “rings of fire,” you know they sound scary (and can hurt!) but here’s the truth:

👉 Rings of fire are NOT caused by the e-file itself.
They’re caused by incorrect technique, usually when too much pressure is applied, the wrong angle is used, or the bit is held in one spot for too long.

So no need to be afraid of them - e-files are not the enemy! They’re an amazing tool that helps us deliver beautiful, long-lasting results when used correctly. 💅🏻✨
