I know on my last post a little while ago now I mentioned my health was being a bit of a pain in the butt again and unfortunately it continues to do so.

It is extremely difficult, for me especially, to admit when I can no longer push myself to just get on with things. I physically can't work on clients like I used to and that is also super exhausting emotionally.
I have put in so much time, effort (and money) to get myself to the stage I was at but at the end of the day like the quote says I have to make myself a priority.

My online booking system has been switched off for a little while now and I have only been available to regular clients to have their skin prescriptions sorted and reoccurring treatments. At this stage this is most likely how I will continue on as I don't want to completely close up shop because this has been something I became so passionate about and I loved all the incredible clients I have met along the way. I am however focusing more on my new venture Nicole Clark Creative as this gives me more freedom to still create income even if I am having a bad Crohn's day and stuck in bed so if you are in need of a VA, Website, Branding design or social media support then please feel free to give me a follow over there.

Just popping in to say yes I am still around. My body is just proving to be difficult where my wound from my surgery in February just isn't healing.
I also had another scope to confirm my Crohns is definitely still active so I am waiting to see my gastroenterologist to decide where to from here with medications.

I have recently updated my bookings which are now more limited. I have also been studying more skills to add to my toolbelt for my other business

OK I immediately had to put these two images side by side to see the before and after from my client this morning.

I had the lovely Nicole (great name by the way 😉) in this morning for cosmetic brows. Nicole is actually the twin sister of one of the girls I know from beauty school so shout out to Leanne for recommending me! 🥰

Nicole has had previous microblading done else where and this has contributed to the pinky scars you can see in her before photo.

Our goal today was to try and counteract as much of that pink tone as possible while also giving her a more balanced shape as the previous one was not following her natural brow shape. At her touch up session in 6-8 weeks we will reasses to see if we need to go slightly thicker in order to hide more of that pink tone and I'm 90% sure Nicole is going to want to rock the bolder brow after she couldn't put the mirror down today at the end of her appointment 😀

Sometimes after a reiki session for a client I might feel a little nudge to do a quick card pull and I always love it when the card pull resonates with what was picked up on during the session.

I had a bit of a surreal moment. The gorgeous came to see me for some skin loving and I will admit when I first saw her booking come through I did a little squeal and then slight panic haha.

Simone used to come to and teach makeup workshops to the students and she has worked on many incredible sets as a makeup artist. Her work is always so beautiful and fresh looking.
