Hi All, just wanted to remind everyone with the protocols to operate safely at Red traffic light 🚦

-Scan the QR code on entry
-Have your vaccine pass ready
-Reschedule if you are unwell or been at a location of interest (really important as this could shut me down)
-Please come in wearing your mask in the the waiting area.. it’s optional for you to wear for your appointment but if you want to please bring a disposable mask because it will get colour on it.
-Bring your own drink and book, we can’t supply drinks or mags
-please come alone, no extras or kids to help us keep the numbers down.

COVID 19 UPDATE - 17 AUGUST

On the back of the latest announcement this evening by the New Zealand government, the salon will remain temporarily closed. At this stage, The salon will be closed for 3 days.
Those clients with bookings during this time will be rebooked. While I’ll do my best to prioritise bookings in terms of dates and times of your original booking, please be patient as there will be a potentially large number to go through.
I’ll see you soon and look forward to opening our doors once we have moved to Level 2.

Level three feels good.. I hope everyone is safe and well 😚 today was a good day for me and I feel so grateful living close to the hills.. first hill run 🏃‍♀️ since lockdown. I thought I’d share a hair tip too.. before my run I applied No.3.. when I got home I jumped in the shower and washed out with Olaplex Shampoo and conditioner 👌 great way to save time and feel good 😁 what did you get up to for the first day back at level 3? I haven’t got to KFC yet 🤣 I’ll wait till the drive through calms down 👍....................... @ Christchurch, New Zealand

HAIR INDUSTRY UPDATE
LEVEL 3 ANNOUNCEMENT
The following are the 2 main points for the Hair industry taken out of the prime ministers address today (1pm, 16 April 2020) for if and when we move to level 3:
* Can I open my salon when we are at level 3?
Businesses cannot offer services which involve face-to-face sustained close contact (e.g. hairdressing, massage, house cleaning, or door-to-door salespeople)
* When will I be allowed to open my salon for business again?
Right now, the risk of transmission from people providing services that require close personal contact (e.g. hairdressers, manicurists, beauticians, domestic cleaners, gymnasiums) is too great. These businesses can resume under Alert Level 2, with appropriate health measures in place.

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter and you are all safe and well in your bubbles.

I thought I should give you an update as we are coming into week four at alert level 4.

I’m hopeful the Government will move alert levels down when they are able to, our advice from NZ Association of Registered Hairdressers (NZARH) is that hairdressers will be able to operate when we reach alert level 2

I’ve found it challenging on how to go about rebooking and have decided it will be most fair to start back where I closed... so those clients canceled first.

I’ll be in touch after the Prime Ministers announcement on Monday 20th April.

I’m looking forward to starting back at the salon and be assured I will do my best to get through everyone safely when we re-open... I really appreciate your patience.

It’s with a very heavy heart I have to inform all my clients that I’ll be in shut down from until now until the government gives us the all clear. I’m grateful for the swift,decisive action our PM has made and we all need to support this.
