Winter adventures are amazing for the soul, but they can be tough on your skin.
A day on the mountain means cold temperatures, wind, high UV exposure and dry air, all of which can weaken your skin barrier, leaving your skin feeling dry, dehydrated and more sensitive.
A few simple things can make a big difference:
• Support your skin barrier with ceramides and barrier-supporting skincare.
• Keep your skin hydrated, inside and out.
• Never skip SPF, even in winter. UV levels are stronger at altitude, and snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays.
• Lock in moisture overnight with a barrier-supporting treatment or mask.

Dermal needling isn’t about going as deep as possible. it’s about choosing the right depth for your skin ✨
One of the biggest myths is that dermal needling needs to be aggressive to deliver results.
The truth is, treatment depth should be tailored to your individual skin, taking into account your concerns, the thickness of the skin in each area, and the professional serum or active being infused during treatment.
Fine, superficial needling is incredibly effective for improving product absorption, skin quality and overall rejuvenation, while deeper depths are for concerns such as acne scarring or certain types of textural changes.
More depth doesn’t always mean better results. In fact, unnecessarily aggressive treatments can increase downtime and inflammation without improving outcomes.

Those tiny dots on your nose probably aren’t blackheads… they’re sebaceous filaments.
Sebaceous filaments are a normal part of your skin and help move oil to the surface. You can’t get rid of them permanently, but you can minimise their appearance with the right routine.
My go-to tips:
• Double cleanse with an oil cleanser.
• Use salicylic acid to help keep pores clear.
• Introduce a Vitamin A (retinal/retinol) to regulate oil and improve skin texture.
• Don’t skip your moisturiser!! skin can overproduce oil to compensate.
Consistency is key. The goal isn’t to eliminate sebaceous filaments, but to keep them looking less noticeable and your skin healthy.

One of the biggest reasons I love what I do is the connections I get to make with the people who come in.
This was a new client today, and it was so nice getting to know her while creating a set of hybrid brows that suited her natural features.

A little brow aftercare reminder- try not to get them wet for 24/48 hours ( showers are ok but don’t wash directly over them )
Remember hybrid brows will always appear darker straight after your appointment. This is completely normal and allows the colour to soften and settle, helping your brows last beautifully.
