In 2003, they started a movement for men’s health that has challenged the status quo, shaken up men’s health research and completely transformed the way health services reach and support our men globally. They are the LEADING charity changing the face of men’s health all over the world, making so much positive impact with men’s mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer and we are so here for great people doing great things! 👏🏽 👏🏽

ALSO according to our son they also have THE coolest office because of the nice hot choccies and the Foosball table which him and his sister happily took over! So sorry to all those in the office still working!

It is a calling and passion of mine to encourage and support tāne to break cycles of intergenerational trauma and abuse to access their right to intergenerational healing.

This work journeying with men has always been an extension of my own lived experience and the grassroots mahi I’ve been privileged to facilitate in my own community.

For the past 3 years, our team has been creating a digital tool to revolutionise the space of domestic violence prevention + provide mental health support for men beyond just our community.

InnerBoy.nz launched today, and I went on Breakfast to be interviewed by the incredible Jenny May to gift this tool to our country. Following this interview, in the first hour alone 36,000 came to join us which confirms what I know to be true; that men absolutely DO want to heal. We are creating an entire generation of cycle breakers! 😭😭

I truly believe that when we disrupt dysfunctional patterns and heal ourselves we create healing for our children and our family line too!

And just like that, we are officially CLOSED! Today I handed the keys back to the landlord.

This shop really changed the game and normalised taboo topics we could talk about in a safe environment.
Those conversations started here!
Because the push back, the back stabbing and the many DM's over the years that told me to shut up and stick to cutting hair just didn't land with me.

The stories, the tears, the pain, the triumphs, the hope, the love and all the joy felt under this roof, will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Thank you once again for all the support over the years down here in Riccarton.

My days of cutting hair will be very limited to Fridays at our She Is Not Your Rehab art gallery alongside my uso (book on his instagram page) who will be there Mon-Thurs.
If I'm in town, I'll be there on Fridays cutting, if not, my loyal clients are very understanding of my schedule so I thank you in advance.

I am ecstatic about this next season with my wife and family as we journey to new heights and goals. Yet the mission and kaupapa is still the same; "To eradicate family violence and believe for intergenerational healing for all people".

I can't wait to show yous what we've been working tirelessly on behind the scenes.

Wherever I go, I'll still be repping the hoods, from Mangere to Hornby to Aranui. It's C-City for life!
