With a heavy heart our Yazu team would like to share the saddest news of our dear wee mascot Lilys passing today.
She has touched the lives of many of our clients and team members over her last 17 years.
She will be greatly missed by us all ❤️❤️

Today we celebrate a truly extraordinary milestone — 30 years of the amazing Lisa at Yazu Hair Lounge. ❤️
Lisa is so much more than just a team member — she’s the heart and soul of our salon. Over the past three decades, she’s brought style, loyalty, compassion, humour, and pure professionalism to everything she does. Her creativity knows no bounds, and her connection with every client is something truly special.
Together, we’ve weathered just about everything — earthquakes, fires, floods, police stakeouts — and through it all, Lisa has been a rock. Calm, collected, and somehow always looking fabulous!
I honestly couldn’t imagine doing this without her. To have worked side by side with someone like Lisa for 30 years is a gift — one I never take for granted.
Lisa, thank you for being you. Here’s to the memories we’ve made, and all the beautiful ones still to come. ✨
