Hi, let me introduce myself — something I haven’t properly done yet!

I’m Shannon, a professional makeup artist who recently relocated to Christchurch after spending most of my career in Dunedin, near the bottom of New Zealand’s South Island.

My journey in makeup began in 2014 as a self-taught artist. What started as experimenting with makeup on myself quickly grew into doing makeup for friends, and before long, that passion evolved into a thriving business working with paying clients.

I specialise in bridal makeup and special occasion glam, helping my clients look and feel their absolute best for life’s most memorable moments. Whether it’s a wedding day, school formal, photoshoot, special event, or stage appearance, I love creating personalised looks that enhance natural beauty while making my clients feel confident and empowered.

While I have a passion for creating timeless, glamorous looks, I also have a creative side that enjoys the world of special effects makeup. From blood and gore to imaginative character creations, I love the artistic freedom that SFX makeup allows, where creativity truly has no limits.

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the confidence that makeup can bring. There is something incredibly special about watching a client look in the mirror and feel beautiful, confident, and empowered.

I am passionate about continually developing my skills and staying current with industry trends. Over the years, I have invested in private lessons with highly respected artists to refine my techniques and learn new skills, ensuring I can provide every client with the highest standard of artistry and service.
