This season of my life is looking a lot different than I imagined a few years ago. There are still challenges, still lessons, and still moments where I question myself—but there are also opportunities, growth, and dreams becoming reality one step at a time.

So here's to backing yourself, even before you feel completely ready. Here's to trying new things, learning new skills, and trusting that the hard work will pay off.

Whether you donated, enjoyed a bowl of porridge, brought a friend, baked something delicious, shared a post, or simply stopped by for a chat — thank you. Your support means so much.

Today was about more than raising money. It was about community, connection, awareness, and supporting those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the morning possible — those who donated food, baking, time, encouragement, expertise, and kindness. I couldn't have done it without you.

Getting everything ready for tomorrow’s 💗 A Bowl for a Cause 💗

I’ve been unpacking all the delicious granola from Posh Porridge (because if we’re doing porridge, we’re doing the good stuff 👏), prepping toppings, and getting excited to create a really warm, welcoming little community morning.

Every dollar raised is going directly to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

This cause means a lot to me for so many reasons. I’m a nurse, and I’ve recently stepped into paramedical tattooing — working alongside women after surviving breast cancer and helping restore confidence through ar**la tattooing, which has been incredibly special.

And on a personal level, one of my beautiful friends absolutely kicked cancer’s butt this year. She went through a double mastectomy with so much strength, grace, and grit, and she’s even baked cakes for tomorrow for you all to enjoy 🥹💗 She’s a true inspiration.

Would absolutely love to see some friendly faces there tomorrow. Even if you just pop in for 10 minutes 💗

This week was a reminder that growth often happens quietly — in the long days, the tired moments, and the times you keep showing up even when nobody really sees how hard you’re trying.
Alongside the chaos of nursing life, I completed my advanced nano brow training this week, and I honestly feel so excited for what’s ahead.
It feels really special to be building something creative for myself while still doing a job that cares for others.
I don’t have everything figured out yet, but I know I’m moving in the right direction.
Maybe this time next year, all the little steps I’m taking now will have created a life with a little more balance, freedom, and creativity.
For now, I’m just proud of myself for continuing to back myself (eye bags and all) — even on the hard weeks. ✨

Today I invested in furthering my education and completed advanced training in Nano Brows ✨
As a nurse, continuous learning has always been so important to me so I can provide the safest, highest quality care possible — and that mindset carries through into my work as a tattoo artist too.
Nano hair strokes are a highly advanced technique designed to create soft, natural, realistic brows with incredible detail. I’m so excited to keep refining this skill, spending plenty of time practising on my latex and perfecting every little detail before officially offering this service to you all.

Ta**us energy. Bull in a china shop. Once I lock in, that’s it.
So quitting? Not an option. Not in my blood.
Because even in the chaos, even in the exhaustion— I can feel it. Momentum.
It’s building. It’s shifting. And I’m not about to walk away now.
This is the part where most people quit.
This is also the part where I don’t.
