My dad has a nuclear powerstation just up the same coast, its a few stops away on the train ..
😦 I just read this:
’Sellafield in Cumbria holds the world's largest stockpile of radioactive plutonium. Earlier this year the government said the material would be made ready for permanent disposal deep underground and put "beyond reach".
- It’s easy to find a lot of ’wrongs’ in the world.. i still choose to see the whole picture and be grateful for everything as it is.
However, I notice the changes in the nature around me here. The only birds i hear are jackdaws, pigeons and seagulls. All the smaller birds are scarce even in the woods. The feeling is of lack of ‘aliveness’.
At night i hear the comforting sound of the owls which makes ny heart sing.
Without nature we are n o t h i n g..
