I’ve enjoyed reading feedback from last weeks client form that I sent out - some replies had me laughing out loud and others wondering “who is that?!”

I kept it anonymous hoping for some ideas for constructive change, nothing earth shattering came through - in fact the opposite. Some of the replies left me feeling really seen, as I really do try my best with each and every appointment to make you feel safe & loved in my care.

Working on your own, it can be easy to become complacent & slip into auto mode - especially when so many clients have become very good friends & we are cackling most of the appointment. It’s always nice to have affirming words of what’s going well in a small business especially when things have been so hard, so thanks to those that took the time 🤍

LOFT IS 11 / /

In the last year, I almost forgot about the magic of my wee business. The pressure of being everything in the business - the hands on, the decisions, the financial responsibility, the constant mental load that no one else sees. I was also seeing small businesses close left right and centre - and thought, perhaps it was time to admit that Loft had done its dash. Keeping it “together” on my own with a commercial mortgage and lease through a recession or two, a pandemic, and more then enough major personal life “stuff” - I seriously considered what an exit would look like.

I then remembered what pure magic happens behind these doors. I have bonded so incredibly beautifully with people from all walks of life. I’ve been with you through YOUR seasons - the celebrations & commiserations. There has been transformations, space for quiet time, somewhere to share what you usually hold close to your chest. You choose to share those with me - It’s an honor, and it’s a privilege.

Thank you so much for sticking by me during the seasons of my business. Some of you since day one! I am extremely proud of this community of mine.
