This nail is the epiphany of a safe, good and hygienic removal.
💥Please take my advice on the following information:
If you are at a nail salon, be it any salon, and you are NOT happy with the sanitation practices, removal practices or anything makes you feel uncomfortable...LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Half done nails or not. Leave.
Send me a message and I will do my best to point you into the right direction of someone who will care about your nails(while I'm on maternity leave). Do not feel ashamed or embarrassed. They are YOUR nails and you have the right to leave when something doesn't sit right.
Getting your nails done shouldn't hurt either. It's a pampering and a therapy session😜

Length? Absolutely!
When you grow your own natural nails, it can pleasantly surprise you with how much you love having a bit of length on them. And it can be such a proud moment when someone asks you if they are your own nails💁🏻♀️
But! Growing your own nails takes team work from both you AND your nail tech.
From you:
-not using your nails as tools, this is such an important one
-wearing gloves when cleaning
-booking in regular nail appointments to get you to where you want to be with your nail journey
From your nail tech:
-taking care in your nails because you're actually human and not just a number
-offering the right products, from a reputable brand, for your needs
-proper removal or infills
-aftercare advice
Growing your own nails is a journey but such a rewarding one!

Yes I did paint french with my left hand on my right hand and no, it didnt take as long as I thought it would😅
Brillbird's French Pasta white paint, making it alot easier for me.

Some clients come with nails that have been in trauma, so serious that they go dark in colour from the blood that has pooled underneath the nail.
Because the blood has pooled there, it separates the nail plate from the nail bed.
Once water gets underneath the nail plate, the blood starts to clear out but your client is left with the nail separation and a vacant gap between the nail bed and nail plate. You can still put product on, BUT...keep the nails short until it grows out.
Take a photo each time your client comes in to monitor the progress of the nail. I always put their name on the photo so I remember who's nail is who's if I end up with multiple.
If the nail starts to go green, water has been trapped underneath and not dried properly, causing a bacteria infection. Let your client know that they should go to the doc to get this sorted. Do not put more product on the nail. Remove the old product and leave the nail natural.
