Covid took so much away and made things difficult for long enough, performing live was hit super hard!

I am writing this message with an extremely heavy heart.

Unfortunately due to this vaccine mandate I have no option but to follow these new regulations.
(even though this does not sit right with me) If this effects you or an appointment already booked please give me a private message x

If and when these laws change, I will have my doors open wide to every single person as it should be.

I want to thank everyone for your loyalty and support.

This year has been one heck of a ride that’s long from being over and without you all my life would be allot less.

You all mean the world to me, vaccinated or not.

So….. It’s been nice to have some downtime but the extended lockdown wasn’t what I was hoping for.

So sorry to my ladies who had planned on having great hair done, until I know what the plan is we are a little in limbo. As soon as we hear don’t worry- I have your back and will be in touch.

Hey everyone,

In life it’s all about the juggling act and to have the perfect balance.

From now onwards I will continue to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s 9:30-2pm and instead of working every evening I have decided to open up a large Saturday to accommodate those who require a after work hours appointment.

I thank all who have understood my reasoning and support this choice. I am so very lucky to have such wonderful loyal friends and clients.

None of us know what this next year brings but if we have learnt anything this year all we need is to surround ourselves with good company and make the most of the beautiful country we live in.

Thankyou again for supporting my small business, without you Caird McCormick Hairdressing wouldn’t be what it is. I love what I do, being able to create great hair, hang out with all you lovely people whilst being able to enjoy mum life with my 3 children.

Wow!

What a start back to work!

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making this incredibly crazy crazy time so much smoother than I could have imagined.

From the late nights rebooking of all my lovely clients to my first 6 busy long days back at work- seeing all of you has been amazing and I’m so happy being back in the salon, doing my thing and creating beautiful hair.

Currently I’m fully booked until the July school holidays, but please don’t hesitate to be in touch if you still require a appointment- I will always see what I can do.

Thursday will be here in no time but please in the meantime bare with me as you can imagine I have a huge list of booking requests to get through but I will be in touch with a time and day soon.

Due to Covid-19 there will be some temporary changes in the salon. I appreciate everyones help with the new normal and please ask for a little patience while I adjust. Please bear with me as I try accomodate as many clients as possible while foremost ensuring the safety of us all.

A few guidelines that I will be working under include:

-There will be hand sanitiser at front desk for you to help yourself to when entering the salon.

-If you are comfortable wearing a mask then there is no problem bringing your own. There are also masks available in the salon at a small cost. I am required to wear a mask also.

-There will be no waiting area in the salon, so if you’re early to your appointment or if I am are running late I need to please ask that you wait in your car until you receive a text from me to come into the salon.

-Please come alone to your appointment as I cannot accommodate extra people. Only clients with hair appointments to come to the salon.

-There will be no magazines in the salon, you’re welcome to bring your own reading materials from home.

-There will be no refreshments served, you’re welcome to bring your own or to support our local cafes on your way to the salon.

-After each client I will be doing a full clean and sterilization of my stations and equipment.

-And finally PLEASE if you are sick or anyone that lives with you is sick which includes cough, sneeze or just feeling off please stay at home, I will do my best to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Looking forward to seeing all your faces, I’ve missed you all so much!

I’ve already had lots of messages requesting an appointment when the restrictions lift and allow me to start working again - I have noted down all who have already contacted me.

Can those who have not already touched base and still want a appointment please let me know ASAP along with a preferred time and day - I can’t really schedule anyone in until I have a confirmed opening date but at least this way it will allow me to know who is wanting an appointment and I’ll do my best to make it work.

I miss you all, I miss our chats.

Who knows how long this will go on for but I’m still here and can’t wait to catch up ! At this stage corona has obviously mucked up my whole booking system, once I get word on things being lifted I’ll check out my books and do my best to juggle everyone back in.
