Just a quick turn around job we completed in Newtown of this sleeper bed refurb, complete with capping & tree removal.

Not as crazy as some of our previous jobs lately but it shows that it doesnt need to take or cost alot to make good changes 👌🏻

Never a truer thing said when it comes to this job.

So incredibly happy with result but she wasnt easy. No access for a digger, so;
shovels ✅️
a radio✅️
and a can do attitude it is! ✅️
All you have to do is;

• 5m3 of excavation by hand
• 1.5m retaining holes dug
• 80+ pavers brought in
• 2 x tree & shed removal
and voila - you have landscaping 🪄✨️💪🏻

Notice weve created more of a planter bed look, with boards on the outside of the piles to maximise the area😏

The owners have been great, love their dog as well🐶
We all worked (ironically) like dogs on this and just happy we got it done and have it looking so good.

Some phenominal before and afters of our 65m fence running from 150x25 palings to 50x50 battens.

This job had it all; terrain, bad weather, some seroously hard work but incredibly stoked with how it came out.
No matter the section or terrain - its possible!!

This is a quick post which doesnt do it any justice but a great turn around;

Our man Ezra lead this job and im super pumped how came out.

Unfortunately we didnt get any before photos due to a technological issue but ive replaced it with a picture of something bad so you get the idea of how dramatic the turn around is (to be fair im just salty as right now).

We get quite a few labourers come through Carlton Landscapes, especially on the holidays and very few have ever got a farewell post.
Usually because they arent around long enough to make an impact we have had an exception with Jacob.

I know a lot of people roll their eyes at the young generation coming through, (me included) but there is hope!
Jacob has been nothing short of brilliant for us.
Only with us for 3 months but he never missed a day, including Mondays cataclysmic storm and never complained 🌧💨🍃

Embraced every challenge & in 3 months showed more ability than most people do after years.

Its been a pleasure mate and were gona miss ya.

Wellington 🤗 how goes!

Nice for summer to make a reappearance, wondered where it had gone to 🙄

As promised, our postponed annual Christmas fishing charter took place today 🙏🏻
Big thanks to for taking us out.

Grateful to all the guys who could make it, including Richard who does some contracting for us & a cameo appearance from a past turkey/fan favourite Nick, who has just got back from a 6 month OE in europe (Im a lot more educated on Albania now🇦🇱 thank you Nick)

I know it sounds cliche so I wont waffle on but im very grateful to these guys.
I may be the head f the company but were nothing without them.
Without their massive efforts, grit to get it done on the bad days and professionalism, we arent capable to do the jobs and reach the milestones we have achieved.

Im grateful for these moments to try to give back to a solid bunch of people.

Its supposed to be summer.....right? 🙄😂

Anyhow....the guys turned around a quick job.
Turning a plaun lawn into a contained stone mulch area, plus a new hedge planted on the driveway.
Well done team 🙌🏻

Very straight forward but makes a big difference and isnt going to break the bank.

Just finished our first goodie of the year, unfortunately didnt get great 'before photos' but the afters look good!

Completely overgrown garden, weedy as and a collapsing retaining wall.
The team tidied the entire property, planted 300 natives, (each with their own natural fibrous mat) ranging from Pseudopanax trident to the humble Pittosporum oliver twist.

Built a new retaining wall to reinforce and contain the old one.
The guys done a really good job on this one, in some crazy hot weather too (remember that hot weather we had? Seems a while ago now right)

Really proud of the outcome and just goes to show; your garden may look hopeless but with our help, we can transfer it into your own oasis.
