Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma last year which turned life upside down.

Today marks one year of mum being in remission.
Everyday I think of how lucky we are that she is with us.

I had said my final goodbye to mum more than once because of life threatening complications.Now we live together in a multi generation home.
We are so lucky to have this opportunity.

Mum you are an inspiration, the strongest woman I know. I am privileged to be at your side and walk with you on this journey. ❤ love you to the moon and back × infinity

The Hair Industry national body leads the way with 'Our Team is Fully Vaccinated' window stickers for members.

Hair & Barber New Zealand strongly recommends our members, their staff and the wider hair community have a COVID-19 vaccination because of the high volume of clients that we see and our close proximity to clients.

Also, because our workforce is predominately female and they are often the main caregiver, it is important to keep our families as safe as possible and as a hands-on industry it is important to keep our staff safe to ensure the financial success of the business, they work in.

The WHO and MOH strongly advise the vaccine as an effective line of defence and have stated that a vaccination rate of 90%+ of the entire country is needed to lessen the transmission in our communities.

As a responsible national body, Hair & Barber New Zealand strongly believe it is important to keep our staff, clients, whanau, and wider communities safe.

Employers have an obligation to ensure a safe workplace, as reasonably as they can, and vaccinations can be critical to this.
