✨SIMPLE • SOULFUL • SACRED✨
It’s wild how the simplest things end up being the most healing. Meditation, self‑Reiki, long walks in the countryside, good food, candles, a good book, firelight… and music-always music. If you know, you know.
Tonight: duties done, bubble bath run, French red breathing, Rachmaninov blurring loudly, veggies and salmon nourishing me to the centre.
Even Roger, the old man cockatiel who Jane said “doesn’t sing anymore” has even started belting out little tunes again. Jo’s magic, apparently.
No TV. No news. No world. Just presence. Well ok the maybe a tad of Instagram. But from tonight radio silence for a whole week of annual leave.
I cannot wait to live like this always, winding down to stillness in my own house in the countryside.
What makes your soul happy and why are you reading this instead of doing it?
Jo’s soul is happy…

Happy 10th Anniversary, Mr Q ❤️🍻
Who would’ve thought that the weirdest, most awkward blind-date-that-wasn’t-really-a-date setup on 2 July 2016 would turn into one of the best friendships I’ve ever had?
Thanks to our mutual troublemaker, Silvia, I was introduced to this random bloke from Milton Keynes also on the other side of the world in NZ. It started with plenty of awkward silences, quickly escalated into discovering we shared the exact same dark sense of humour, and ended with us drinking, dancing, and me earning the worst blisters I’ve ever had.
Fast forward 10 years, and you’re still saved in my phone as “Hubby.” 😂 Somehow we’ve managed to survive a decade of terrible jokes, questionable life choices, and constant banter without killing each other.
Here’s to 10 years of friendship, laughter, dark humour, and proving that sometimes the weirdest introductions turn into the best people you’ll ever meet.
And Silvia… we still owe you that dinner. ❤️🍷
I’ve always been fascinated by angel numbers and the idea that the universe has little ways of nudging us in the right direction.
Whether you see them as spiritual guidance, signs from loved ones, or simply meaningful coincidences, I’ve always paid attention when certain numbers seem to appear again and again.
So imagine how excited I was when I found out my new address is 88! ✨
In numerology, 8 is often associated with abundance, success, confidence, and personal power. Turn it on its side and it’s the symbol for infinity (∞). So seeing 88 feels a bit like a double infinity (∞∞), endless possibilities, abundance, balance, and flow.
For me, it feels like a positive sign and a reminder to trust the journey, stay open to opportunities, and embrace this new chapter with gratitude.

✨Exciting news - a brand‑new location Featherston, Wairarapa.✨
Reiki Level 1 is happening Sunday 16 August .crystals
If you’ve been feeling the pull to deepen your connection with energy, intuition, and self‑healing, this is your moment to step in.
Reiki First Degree is the beginning of it all, a gentle, powerful introduction to working with universal life force energy. You’ll learn how to support your own wellbeing, soothe your nervous system, and bring more balance into your everyday life.
My classes are intentionally small, supportive, and heart‑led, giving you space to grow, ask questions, and build confidence as you begin your Reiki journey.
If your heart is whispering yes, I’d love to welcome you in.
DM to book or connect 💚
✨ Deep, grounded, and whole ✨
You don’t heal by becoming someone new. You heal by learning to love who you’ve always been.
By accepting your past. By nurturing the wounds you once tried to silence. By gathering the broken pieces and placing them back together with gold, like kintsugi - a reminder that your cracks are part of your beauty.
For me, it took almost 40 years to finally stop running from myself. To stop abandoning myself. To stop believing I had to become someone else to be worthy.
And when I finally turned toward myself instead of away, everything changed.
Life became softer, fuller, more honest, because I chose to love the person I had been all along.
I am grateful for everything that ever happened to me, even the parts that once felt unbearable, because they shaped the woman I am today.
They carved depth.
They built strength.
They taught me compassion.
They led me home.
This was my journey.
This was my becoming.
This is me, whole.
And this is why I do the work I do.
To help others stop running from themselves. To walk beside them as they find their way back to their own truth. To remind them that healing isn’t about becoming someone else, it’s about remembering who they’ve always been.
✨ Because the person you’re searching for has been within you all along. ✨
If you’re ready to begin your own journey home to yourself, my link is in my bio. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you and support you every step of the way. 💚

Today I had the absolute privilege of teaching Reiki Level One to three beautiful women, each beginning their own unique Reiki journey.
There is something incredibly special about holding space for others as they reconnect with their innate ability to channel healing energy. Watching confidence grow, wisdom awaken, and hearts open throughout the day is a gift I never take for granted.
Teaching Reiki fills my heart and my cup in a way that nothing else quite does. It reminds me why I do this work and why I continue to share these teachings with such gratitude.
To these wonderful ladies, thank you for your trust, your openness, and your willingness to step into this sacred practice. I can’t wait to see where your Reiki journey takes you.
✨ Reiki is not just something we learn; it’s something we remember.
✨ Spirituality and Boundaries ✨
Sometimes my aura is glowing, my chakras are aligned, my crystals are moon‑charged, and my guides are whispering sweet wisdom… and yet the universe still sends me one person who thinks my boundaries are a group activity 😂💎
Yes, I meditate.
Yes, I sage my house.
Yes, I drink herbal tea, journal, heal, breathe, and choose peace.
But I also keep my “throat‑chakra realignment device” handy for educational purposes only.
Because being spiritual doesn’t mean becoming spineless, it means knowing your worth, protecting your energy, and laughing at your own chaos while you do it. I’m soft, but not fragile. Kind, but not here to be tested. Healing, but still fully capable of reminding someone that my peace is protected property.
Call it divine feminine with a side of “try me and see what happens.”
Call it sacred and slightly unhinged.
Either way, my humour stays wild, my boundaries stay holy, and my energy stays blessed.
Clarity is a higher state than optimism.
Optimism assumes the path will unfold as planned. Clarity understands that life owes us no guarantees, yet walks forward with an open heart anyway.
The soul grows strongest when it is no longer attached to outcomes. Not because it has stopped caring, but because it has learned to trust itself regardless of what arrives.
The deepest wisdom lives between hope and fear. It sees possibility and uncertainty sitting side by side, and chooses movement over hesitation. It knows that courage is not certainty, it is action in the presence of the unknown.
Stay devoted to the craft. Stay committed to the cause. But do not turn your own mind into a battlefield.
Ideas cannot take root in a mind crowded by worry. Vision cannot expand where fear is constantly rehearsed. A clear mind is not a luxury; it is a spiritual discipline. It creates space for intuition, discernment, and peace.
Protect your inner world.
Because when ambition is guided by clarity rather than anxiety, pressure becomes purpose, setbacks become lessons, and every step, whether forward or backward, becomes part of the path.
The strongest minds are not those that believe everything will work out.
They are the ones that remain centred, present, and at peace, no matter what unfolds.

Yep… 2 years ago I hit my absolute chunkiest era 😂 I was a size 18, uncomfortable in my own skin, and convinced stretchy pants counted as “putting effort into an outfit”.
Fast forward through a LOT of gym sessions, cutting out refined sugar, ditching most gluten, mainly sticking to Keto, and making better choices every day… and I’m now a size 12 and officially 20kg lighter 🙌
And before anyone asks, yes, I did have help from the weight loss jabs. I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But trust me, the jab doesn’t magically turn you slim while you sit there eating garlic bread and hot chips 😂
You still have to put in the work. You still have to move your body. You still have to make better food choices. And you still have to say “no” to things you really want sometimes.
The jab helped quiet the food noise, but the lifestyle changes are what made the difference.
Still a work in progress, still human, still capable of inhaling fries if left unsupervised… but healthier, happier, and so much more confident than I was before ❤️
