2019 Absolutely Positively wellingtonian award winner Hair & Makeup Artist Warren Dion Smith has been Creating memories since 1990!
As a young child growing up Warren was given the gift of reading Hair a medium considered Tapu by ancient Maori and Polynesian descendants.
Warren Dion Smith is from the tribe of (Waikato /Tainui) & From a sub tribe call Ngati Tamaoho of Mangatangi Marae, founded by princess Te puea herangi. In honor of my ancestral line i place the values taught to Me by my Tupuna and with the world the way it has become , we must learn to adapt to so much change in one life time as did our ancestors before us. .Warren Dion Smiths advice for any one choosing a career in hair & makeup would be to take time to understand what is expected, keep inspired, motivated & enthusiastic. We as a new Zealand nation are made up of so many supportive communities of well being and compassion.
It is also Important to remeber that we must follow health and safty procedures in order to naturally move forward and to show that we are leaders in a specialised industry caring for communities & the environment.
