In celebration of June as the wedding month, the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office (CPTO) presents “Our Cebu! Kasalan sa Segundo ug Sixto Distrito,” a three-day exhibit showcasing Cebu’s finest wedding destinations, rich cultural heritage, and unique local products and delicacies.

Set on June 19–21, 2026, at the Level 1 Atrium of Robinsons Galleria Cebu, the exhibit invites visitors to explore the rich history and cultural treasures of Cebu Province’s 2nd and 6th Districts, as well as Lapu-Lapu City. It also highlights some of the country’s most sought-after wedding destinations and celebrates the traditions that make them truly special.

The showcase offers a unique journey through the historic stone churches of Argao and the enduring cultural legacy and artistry of Dalaguete, Alcoy, Boljoon, Oslob, Samboan, and Santander. Visitors will also discover the luxurious beach destinations of Lapu-Lapu City and experience the vibrant traditions of Consolacion, Cordova, and Mandaue City.

Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation successfully conducted the 2-day Environmental User Fee Formulation Training-Workshop attended by the People’s Organizations AEWA and SADAFA, together with Municipal Mayor Jose Eugenio Singson Jr., SB Members Ascher Medel and Guia Romarate, Coach Niño De los Santos, Jojo Miñoza, Jo Anthony Duran, Hank Ocampo, together with the Barangay Captains of Daanlungsod, Guiwang, and Nug-as.

The 2-day seminar focused on strengthening environmental sustainability initiatives and formulating effective environmental user fee mechanisms to support responsible tourism, coastal resource management, conservation efforts, and sustainable community development in the municipality.

The Joint Coordination Meeting of the Ridge to Reef TWG and the Municipal Tourism Council was successfully conducted together with Municipal Mayor Jose Eugenio Singson Jr., Vice Mayor Michael Angelo S. Sestoso, SB Members Ascher Medel and Guia Romarate, together with Jo Anthony Duran.

The meeting focused on strengthening initiatives, coordination, and future plans in promoting sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and community development for the Municipality of Alcoy.

🎣 Final Coordination Meeting for the Upcoming 2nd Black Shama Sports Fishing Tournament

The LGU Alcoy, together with the Alcoy Black Shama Anglers, conducted the final coordination meeting in preparation for the much-awaited 2nd Black Shamma Sports Fishing Tournament.

Present during the meeting were Municipal Mayor Engr. Jose Eugenio Singson Jr. and SB Member Neil Tracy Plando, whose support and guidance continue to strengthen Alcoy’s commitment to promoting sports tourism and community engagement.

With all preparations now in place, we are excited to welcome participants and spectators for another thrilling tournament that showcases not only the spirit of sportsmanship but also the beauty of Alcoy’s coastal waters.

After 10 days of intensive training under the guidance of the Philippine Coast Guard, our participants proudly received their Basic Life Support and Lifeguard Training Certificates — a testament to their dedication, discipline, and commitment to water safety and lifesaving excellence. 🛟🌊

This meaningful milestone was celebrated in the presence of Vice Mayor Michael Sestoso, SB Members Guia Romarate and Ascher Medel, Coach Niño De los Santos, Jojo Miñoza, and Tourism Officer Ailee Romarate, together with the Philippine Coast Guard, whose expertise and guidance made this successful training possible.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Municipal Mayor Engr. Jose Eugenio Singson Jr. for his undying support of our tourism initiatives and activities, and for continuously championing programs that strengthen safety, skills development, and opportunities for our community.
