I underwent TAHBSO ( operation) January 9, 2019 EVRMC and waited for my biopsy result, by February 2019 , and found out its cancer. This morning was our latest visit to my hubby's doctor after a series of check up and tests for 5 months from the time he underwent bone marrow aspiration last March. He was diagnosed with CML. His white blood count was 169, too high for the normal range of 5-10. The platelet count soared to 634 (normal : 150-400) . He is taking the prescribed medication for 5 months now. It's also good we now have oral medicine equivalent to chemotherapy. We thank and praise God for amazing results! He is now on the road to full recovery! His blood test results are now within the normal range. There's still few mutation but it's now down to 4.41 % from the first test which was 93.3 %. Our next visit and test is scheduled on March 2024 (We are done with the monthly monitoring). Our goal is to have a result of below 1% to be considered as green or cancer-free!
