Moryon's Cut, Shave, and Style draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Marinduque, particularly the province’s iconic symbol—the Morion. The Morion, a type of helmet historically worn by Spanish conquistadors and European infantry, is emblematic of strength and masculinity, qualities we aim to reflect in our barbershop. More than just a helmet, the Morion is a key element of Marinduque’s famous Moriones Festival, a grand Lenten tradition where men don costumes and masks representing Roman soldiers.
As the first concept barbershop in Marinduque, Moryon's Cut, Shave, and Style offers premium and signature haircut services, and our shop is beautifully adorned with imagery inspired by Marinduque’s attractions, cultural traditions, and tourism sites.
