I’ve come across this saying several times, about how some people will not like your children because they’re yours. I also know for a fact that those some people will not trust me as a person just because I am who I am.

Know this. My kids and I are way past traditional normalcy. I’d like to believe we manage our days well enough that we were all able to indulge in life’s special moments. We teach each other the meaning of how it is to truly love each other by actually being there, by being considerate, helpful, caring, and forgiving. Yes, we do.

We forgive when toys are a mess and there’s unfinished homework. We sleep when we’ve gone from tired to overworked to just simply wanting to earn more rest hours. We are not ashamed to share seats and to have crowded beds. We are just how we work out stuff everyday.

Then we know, that with faith and love, and just pure trusting we’d make it, we are never losing in this life.
