This Famous Photo, kept at McArthur Memorial Museum at Norfolk, Virginia USA, shows the Original Image of the Senor Santo Nino de Cebu after its safekeeping at the Redemptorist Monastery for 7 months during the Liberation Bombings of Cebu, as it was returned to its Sanctuary on April 20, 1945 by Fr. Thomas Mchugh, CssR, Rector of the Redemptorist Monastery of Cebu to Fr. Leandro Moran, OSA, Rector of the Santo Nino Church. It must be noted that the location of the Redemptorist Church at that time was amidst Cornfields and Mango trees (hence named Mango Avenue later on), made the Redemptorist Monastery away from the Bombings during that time.
As written by the Augustinians: "Among guidala cuining diyutay nga Bata sa balay sa iyahang Inahan, Siya karon nagabantay Caniya."
