Similar to how a sweater pills up "balls" of fabric, the same can happen with your beauty products! Pilling is when a beauty product starts "balling" up after it's applied. This can happen immediately or over the course of a few hours.

If your products are pilling, it typically has do with them not being absorbed into the skin properly. If it's not absorbed properly, the "balling" can start to occur. If you feel like a product is sitting on top of your skin, chances are it probably is!

What causes pilling?
- Not letting a product absorb into the skin before applying another
- Applying too much of a product
- Incorrect order of application
- Not exfoliating your skin properly

How can I prevent pilling?

- Allow products to absorb before applying more
